I don't see how it messes with any plans though?  Confused

Invictus was entrusted to rendezvous with Xander.

Well that doesn't mess with the plans considering I was going to come up to you.

Which then makes this conclusion all the more interesting since I hope for Acheron to survive... but if he doesn't the leadership of the Sith Empire shall suddenly become very interesting.

I hope Acheron survives....

Remember that coup I was talking about leading with Invictus? That RP?

Well, in the political fallout after a failed blitz (the siege of Coruscant didn't have to fail, simply our momentum would have been lost... unless you pull something off nicely), Lord Aurum attempts to lead a coup against Acheron (Aurum doesn't have the ultra-piety of Invictus). Aurum's apprentice, Darth Ira... well... it'll work out, and we can still enjoy this RP and a war to boot!

Yeah that can be a Sith-only RP if you want, I'd be happy to participate.

Yeah I never intended this invasion to succeed as that pretty much gives us rule of the Galaxy, so I suspect Acheron will go up to the main room, battle Sirak while Elac battles Xrjz, and then retreat, with or without Elac depending on whether he returns to the light.

I'll send you a PM about the new RP.

That was a pretty epic post, Vic. Do you mind if I go back in time a short bit with my post and end up being the Jedi that kills you?

Darn, and I was rather looking forward to killing Invictus personally.  Thats what I get for going to the dark side I suppose.  I would rather like to see the invasion not succeed, but rather be drawn to a stalemate.  Anarchy on Coruscant would be fun!

Well I was thinking the Sith withdraw, and based on Vic's idea, this RP would more be the beginning of a continuous war, not the war in its entirety.

That was without a doubt the longest RP post I've ever made.

Its your story, I'll go with however you tell it, I was just voicing my whims Smile

But for srs people.  Lets get something straight.  Lightsabers create causterized wounds.  No blood!  NO BLOOOOOOOOOOOOD!

Where was this violated?
Invictus was swinging a vibrosword in the end.

Quote:
A Jedi master's blade had just barely nicked the limb... and yet a nick was so deadly to one so physically weak as Invictus. The arm, no more than two and a half inches in diameter, was nearly dislocated. Blood seeped from it, the bulk of it dangling carelessly in mid air.

Quote:
Hundreds of bullets seemed to bury themselves in the Sith Lord's chest, but every one simply added to the ecstasy of triumph. Blood... life seeped through his robes;

The first one I suppose you're right (unless the Jedi was, for some reason, also wielding a physical blade).

The other way you might be able to get away with it is if you said Invictus's blood was highly pressurized and managed to burst through the cauterization.

The second one is fine since it says "bullets" instead of "blaster bolts" --- I don't know why they were using kinetic bullets instead of blasters, but they do exist in the Star Wars universe.
