That's right, her final Star Wars book EVER will be Imperial Commando 2. Thank god she won't write her Boba Fett book and subject us all to another 400 pages of him crying over his father.

Hmm? Never actually read any of her books, or any novel in the Star Wars Universe, for that matter.

Her writing tends to be boring and pointlessly melancholic, I assume?

Well, Boba Fett sure isn't boring and pointlessly melancholic, so i think we can draw that conclusion

The problem with her, is she turns Boba Fett into that.

Her non-SW works are positively brilliant, and as a fan of Halo books I think she'd be good in that universe too, but in SW she's like Zahn - arrogant about the use of her characters - but even more so by bringing in a language and culture the Mandos never used to have.

As do I, Traviss takes what he does, and makes it bad.

I've recently been reading Sacrifice and it's been pretty boring so far.

Have you read Order 66/Bloodlines? They're pretty necessary...

Order 66 especially is a must if you're to derive any enjoyment from her LOTF books.

I liked Hard Contact, Triple Zero was ok, True Colors was even worse, and Order 66 was pretty horrible. Still, I look forward to reading her two Imperial Commando books

Order 66... was like the best of the RC books...  Confused Besides Hard Contact that is.
