Rania looked up at Ryn, her eyes tired and heavy from the travel of the ship in which the four of them were now on. Her blonde hair was now in a loose pony tail which had fallen out in the midist of all the action in which had occured with the Jedi distruction. Ryn made her feel comfortable, Fectum and Ryn both made her feel comfortable. She didn't know why but its how it was. Her hands came up to her hair, quickly playing with the strands until the ponytail came out and her blonde hair traild down her shoulders and a beautiful wave. She sighed, turning the pony tail into a bracelet.

I'm alright. A little tired, still wounded, but fine otherwise." A smile crossed her face as she looked down at her hands and back up at him.

What was going on with her?

After a moment of staring, Ryn helped her up and gave her a little nod. "He's taking us to Cloud City. He says he can hide you. I think you can trust him." There was another moment of uneasiness before Ryn turned to return to the cockpit. He trodded back with his hands in his pockets. There were a dozen other things that he could have said to her. It was one question that was bugging him. He turned back towards her before entering the doorway to the cockpit. "Raina, please tell me. What are you hiding from? Whatever it is, I know people. They can protect you. You just need to tell me what you're running from."

Raina's eyes turned sharp, but not out of anger, out of realization. She knew that she was going to have to tell them sooner or later. She sighed, swaying in her standing postion. It was obvious that she didn't want to talk about the problems which had arisen so quickly. Sirak was a jedi, she knew this. Knowing he was a jedi, she'd helped him. Her eyes traveled around the room, and she sat down again quickly, leaning against the wall of the ship.

"Its my Master." She said bitterly. "Its a really long story ok," Her eyes snapped to Leon, glaring at him with hate in her eyes. He didn't respond, only looked away from her.

"I'm running from my Master, Salzoren. He didn't train me the way Sith usually train their apprentices. Can I leave it at that?" Her strength had drained away from the mention of her Masters name. Such power he held over her, enough to run from him.

The story....it still caused her pain.

Ryn straightened up in surprise. He could barely to do to the shock. "You... a Sith?" He could tell the conversation was hurting her, so he dropped it. Ryn didn't mean to sound mad or dissappointed, but he would never suspect a seeminly innocent, beautiful waitress could be the most brutal thing in the Galaxy: a Sith. "Raina. I know people in Cloud City. You'll be safe there. I don't know how many we can hide, but don't worry. I'll make arrangements." He gave her another little nod before retreating to a quarters near the back of the ship. Ryn laid down on the bed staring at the ceiling. His world was turning upside down.

Raina didn't understand. A Jedi....was going to help a Sith? To hr surprise she didn't mind. For a long moment she stared blankly at where Ryn stood only a few moments ago. He didn't know she was a Sith? It must have shocked him. She saw how she was hurting people by needing help the way she was, her face twisted darkly and she arose from her sitting postion on the floor. What was she? Weak? A weak person who couldn't handle herself?

No! She wasn't!

Raina walkd stright into the quarters where Ryn was laying on the bed. She came in, her head bent down with her hair covering her eyes so Ryn couldn't see them. She shut the door behind her, letting it echo for a moment while se stod, planning her next move. Finally, she moved to sit on the bed next to Ryn. She hated viewing herself as a weakling and trembling at the very mention of her Master's name was something she hadn't seen for herself when she agreed to become one of the Sith.

"You...don't have to help me." She explained quietly. "I'm sorry, I should have told you I was a Sith. I...thought you could tell."

Ryn remained staring into nothing. He mouthed the words, How could I know? He had some explaining to do himself. "I'm not a Jedi either." It was frustrating to call back on the memories he had thus far locked away into the corners of his mind. "I was. They abandoned me. I gave everything I had for the Jedi, and they abandoned me. The truth is that the Jedi are wicked. I needed help and they tossed me aside." The temper was now evident in his voice. Ryn sat up next to Raina. "I needed help. The Dark Brotherhood helped me. It was my home, my family, the only thing I had left. The Sith took that from me and I'll never forgive them for that!" Ryn's anger was boiling over. He tossed a pillow across the room and sprung to his feet. He paced towards the wall and stood there staring at it. He seemed to be calming down. "But you're not like them. I know you're not. You can't fight this. You don't always have to try and be strong. It will make you just like them. Dead inside." Ryn turned back to Raina and took her hands into his own. "Promise me that you won't be like them. Please."

Darth Vereor's swoop bike raced through the icy streets towards the cantina. One of his most trusted contacts had sent him a distress signal. Even on his way there, the Sith could hear blaster fire from near the bar. Something big was happening. He could see the smoke as he came in range. Vereor hopped off of the bike on the street in front of the bar. The fight seemed to be over. Dead bodies littered the snowy road with the victors pacing throughout the carnage. One of them was recognizable. A fresh man with the Sith. Crozeus had already proved his worth for the Order. Another was standing by. A vicious veteren, Lord Invictus had obviously played his part in the massacre. Darth Vereor approached the younger of the two. "Crozeus, what's happening?"

Raina looked at him, a small tint of pink crossing over her cheeks. She gulped, turning her head to meet her eyes with his. They....were touching. He was warm, something she wasn't used to. No she knew something was going on with her. Her pale throat seemed to grow paler. She looked weak at that moment, innocent and untouched with the way her face titled to the side ever so slightly in confusion and remorse. Raina already knew she was like them.

"I'm already dead. It wasn't the order that killed me." She whispered. "It was Salzoren," She paused, remebering somthing important. "and Leon." Who was sitting in just the other room, worried as hell for her all the same.

"I was unreasonably tortured." She whispered again more quietly this time. "He's go to be killed and I have to do it. He'll follow me, I'll figh him." She knew se couldn't win and fear showed in those bright blue orbs she had for eyes. "I'll do it."

Ryn simply shook his head. There was apathy in his eyes. They weren't so different. He didn't want her to have to fight Salzoren, but any arguing would be useless. Her mind was set. It was visible in her face. It had never really struck him until that moment how beautiful she was. It seemed unfair. Fectum had told him briefly about the relations between Raina and the man sitting outside the door. He looked again at Raina. "What about Leon?"

Raina laid out on the bed Ryn had been using, watching him with her eyes intensly. She'd never shared the story of what had happened to anyone before. She looked Ryn over, taking in everything about him. She'd noticed before how he was built. Salzoren had done more then just torture her relentlessly in ways that made her shake in passing thought, but Leon....he had been different. She really did want to kill him now, after what he had done.

"Leon...that nerf herder." Raina hissed, looking up at the celling. "We were both in the Jedi order at first....we were.....sort of....together. He'd always been a rebel, and join the Sith force. Long story short I went looking for him and he went back to the Jedi." She turned over. "I'd take Salzoren's rape episodes to Leon." Raina mummbled, not meaning for Ryn to over hear her.

Ryn sat down on the edge of the bed. It was getting so confusing. Leon had helped them out in the fight at the cantina. Now he heard that Raina wanted him dead and completely forgotten. Ryn didn't know how to feel about him. He had scarred Raina. Along with the horrible things Salzoren had done to her, it was becoming apparent that there was a need for closure in her life. Still, Ryn wanted to do something for her. She was in no way weak. She'd proved that to him. He justed didn't want her to be too strong for her own good. "If you're going to do this, let me help you. I won't lose you like I lost everything else in my life. No matter how much you think it's all coming to an end, everyday is a new beginning. This morning I was drunk in some filthy cantina, then everything changed. I met you." Ryn's hand slid closer to Raina's. He had no idea what he was doing. Playing on instinct was his M.O. by now.

Her eyes closed lightly, she wasn't tired but she was stressed out, who wouldn't be after the crazy life she'd lived. Raina was silent for a long while before opening her eyes and staring at Ryn. She saw him as some one new, and something drew her to him. She didn't know what but something was pulling her to him.

"I'm not a big influence in anyone's life....and.....I know Salzoren won't kill me if I fight him. If I accept help, he won't kill you either. He's torture you til you beg for death." Her eyes closed and she took in a deep breath. "I won't let him do that to you. No. He'll take me back with him and torture me a little but he won't kill me in the end. Please...."

Raina seemed sure that her former master would end up being victorious in the end. Ryn thought differently. Even though he didn't know Salzoren, he wasn't one to call the fight before it began. He was slowly trying to convince her that there was still hope, but it was becoming an uphill struggle. "Don't talk like that. Raina, please don't give up on yourself." Ryn took another look at the ceiling and went over their options. They could hide in Cloud City or they could attempt to fight Salzoren when he came looking for them. There was no promise of success either way. Ryn let out a sigh and ran his fingers through his hair before looking back at her. "And you're wrong. The problem is that you are an influence." Perhaps it was time to leave her to rest.

Raina sat up, pulling her knees to her chest quickly. Her face was drawn into a sad expression, solem, and morbid. She burried her head in her knees, wonderin to herself why she continued to live this way. In all truth, Raina was a social person and she needed companionship. She'd forgotten the last time she'd actually talked to some one. She looked at Ryn, her head still laying on her knees. His eyes drew her in, and she couldn't force herself to look away from him.

"I'm not about to put your life in danger." She stretched her arms above her head and groaned, twisting around slightly. "Damn, my shoulders hurt. Thats what I get for moving too quickly." She sighed. "Ow...why are you helping me anyway? You don't know me that well."

Fectum had heard the entire conversation and knew he had to walk in somwhere," Nobody knows you that well Raina, and you have a great influence on me. You are more powerful than I, you just haven't channeled it yet. And I don't want to hear any complaining about the sith." He looked over at Ryn,"  You could be useful as well. Keep your mind on helping me and I won't have to throw you from one of the windows on my ship."

Raina began messaging her shoulders as the pain in them intensified, but she couldn't reach a few spots on her back and was fumbling and groaning all the while. Her eyes fell on Fectum as her hands worked on her back. She really didn't understand what he meant by that because she felt that she only ever caused problems for people. Upon realizing the truth behind the statement, she turned to lay on her stomach, still messaging her shoulders.

"I'll be alright. Thanks, the both of you, but I've been doing this running my whole life. Its about time I faced him or died trying. Once we get to Cloud city, I'll leave you alone." She looked at Fectum. "I'm not that strong, but I am fast. And Ryn stays, he's been helpful to."
