According to a sourced Wikipedia sentence: "Joe Murray, creator of Rocko's Modern Life, believed that the personality of a wallaby suited Rocko after observing a zoo wallaby "minding his own business" while elephants and monkeys "screamed for attention." Along with Invader Zim - it's one of the two Nickelodeon shows I would say is worth watching even for adults. Er... Avatar: The Last Airbender too. But that's more of an action-comedy than a comedy. My general rule is "Do you like the Harry Potter movies/books? You'll probably like Avatar."
