We don't believe that God made everything look a lot older than it really is, but I tend to avoid these debates because the person who believes in evolution defeats me and then I try those arguments on a fundamentalist and they defeat those arguments. I lose anytime I get in one of the debates with anyone regarding the science part. _________________

Catholicism/Some Christianity: God was here from the beginning and created everything... over the course of billions if not trillions of years in various scientific processes and, in scientific laws of the universe, he is still creating. _________________

If you mean that we believe the Earth is currently 2.5 thousand years, in my church it was said that the Earth is about 10,000 years old if I remember correctly. The time between creation and the world flood was at least 2,000 years. But I think that it was more. _________________
