I'll sum up: 1. There's a group of scientists working on "synthetic biology" - in other words, creating artificial organic substances. Alright... sure. That's pretty much the driving force behind Without Sin - Armia trying to unleash the Yuuzhan Vong developed replicating goop on the galaxy, but that doesn't really mean... 2. They're trying to develop it to be self-sustaining and able to spread - but are having trouble. ... Okay. Fine. That's exactly the same problem the Empire ran into in Venom of the Empire when they tried to reproduce the substance. But that's still just... 3. The project's name... is AEGIS. ..................................... WHAT THE FRAK?! My story is obviously coming true - with frightening accuracy. So... Lies of Bakura: Chapter 5 ------- Rive and Korus flew the Narix back to Bakura. Garo was treated for his injuries and it turned out that the disturbance in the Force that everyone felt was just the chef burning the dinner meal and being really upset about it. Armia Delvron turned over a new leaf and never bothered anyone again - in fact, she helped to cure every known disease in the galaxy using what she learned during her few years working with the Yuuzhan Vong. Yiim starred on an off-Broadway play about the trials of being an alien from another galaxy. Massive success. The seeds of rivalry between Abba and Rive never amounted to anything - they play tennis on Tuesdays now and are the best of friends. A synthetic organic development project... and it just happens to share its name with MY synthetic organic development project? So working to protect "sovereignty" seems a bit 'nicer' than working to enhance your "superiority". I suspect tonight will not be the night to finally get it up - since it's Battlestar Galactica/Terminator night in the Caedo household (and Clone Wars too for that matter).
