Bump for more great justice.
I still have not seen the Caprica movie pilot, but I did pick up The Plan movie which was just released.
It certainly doesn't stand on its own, but I think it's a really great addition for fans that have seen the full series. It makes the Cylon plotline of the series a lot more coherent. It is a bit of a shame that they had to do this using hindsight, but it all works rather well - at least.
Despite the fact that Tricia Helfer is shown front and center on the DVD cover (because she sells DVDs), this is really Cavil/Number 1's movie.
So, I liked it. The only real complaint I had is that there's some brief moments of nudity featured. It felt really out of place since that wasn't featured in the actual series and so it seemed very much "Oh! This is direct to DVD! We can show this now!"
