Your jedi NameGOt this off of a Soul Calibur IV board...
Example:
First name - first 3 letters of your last name + first three letters of your first name
Last name - first 3 letters of your mothers maiden name + first three letters of the city you were born in
So I am, Webzac Bulchi
There are other formulas, but I like this one because it actually makes a Star Warsish sounding name.
Soooo what is your SW name (with this or another formula)?
I thought this was pretty cool, but my name sounds like crap. Some other names were pretty good though...

Peczac Wilche
lol I like it!

Dork of Mordork
|
Crajoh Bayaga
Last name I won't put in here, but obviously starts with Cra. First name is John. Mother's maiden name is Bay, and the city I was born in is Agana, (Ah-gon-yah) Guam. Largest city and the capital of Guam.
My Jedi name is retarded, lol.
|
Lord Invictus
|
I used this format:
first 3 of last name + first 2 of first name
First 2 of Mother's Maiden Name + First 3 of City you were born in.
Bedan Kecle (that was my original account name before Darth Mortalis too.)

Using that I got Webza Buchi, just as crappy, I have to figure out a cooler name producing formula for myself.
|
Adenn
|
Keomit Hanhou
Sounds suitable for a Korean mobster :p
|
Dork of Mordork
|
Lol, here's a different formula.
First 3 letters in your pets (or would-be pets) name, plus the last 3 letters of your middle name for the first name.
First 4 letters of the town/city you live in, plus last 3 letters of the town/city you were born in for last.
All together, that would make my name...
Pilian Suffana
Better than the last one at least.
Pet's name is Pilchard, middle name (and the name I go by) is Brian. City I live in is Suffolk, and the city I was born in (like before) is Agana, (Ah-gon-yah) Guam.

Using that formula:
Leoyan Cheynne
Tucyan Cheynne
Winyan Cheynne
Chayan Cheynne
My pets names are Tucker, Winston (dogs), Leo and Charlie (cats) my middle name is Ryan and the town I live and was born in was Cheyenne, Wyoming. Yes Wyoming is a state.
|
Dork of Mordork
|
I know Wyoming is a state. Who doesn't?
|
Rive Caedo
|
Wyoming is the state with the lowest population in the United States, so there's a running joke in many circles that Wyoming doesn't exist
Anyway - here's one I made. Give it a go. It works wonderfully for John Smith born in Kingston Nevada (the identity I use when filling out most online forms), but I'm not sure if it works as well with other names.
It's a bit better than the one originally provided because not every name will be the same length.
Take your first name. Divide it in half (rounding up or down - your choice). Take the first half.
Take your last name. Divide it in half (rounding up or down - your choice). Take the second half.
That's your first name.
Take the state, province, or county you were born in (or live now - your choice). Divide it in half (rounding up or down - your choice). Take the second half.
Take the city you were born in (or live now - your choice). Divide it in half (rounding up or down - your choice). Take the second half.
That's your last name.
Joth Adaston is the result for John Smith born in Kingston Nevada.

Mingenne
How ironic. My first name is almost the same I spell mine with a h not a k.
My last name sounds Asian.
|
Rive Caedo
|
Hm... it sounds more like some sort of smooth, minty, alcoholic drink to me.
I can see the holonet commercial now...
"After a long day in the spice mines of Kessel, I like to sit back and relax with a tall glass of mingenne. And when I drink mingenne, I make sure it's a Calrissian brand mingenne. Calrissian has class and when I'm drinking it... so do I."
I can even see the fine print!
"Please drink responsibility. Do not attempt to plot a hyperspace jump or operate a starship while under the influence of mingenne."
|
Io Lee
|
lol. Now that you brought that up it sounds like margarita or something.
And under the Fine Print in small text:
"May cause indigestion, vomiting, liver cancer, stomach cancer, hypothermia, bird flu, dog flu, common cold, salmonella, African trypanosomiasis, pertussis, and many other disease, stomach and liver shrinkage, decrease in brain cells etc.
|

Oh come now, that's not accurate at all.
You'd need to remove the "may" for it to be true

I like Adano actually, but Steco is a bit odd. It'd work for a comedy type character (IE: Skod).

Alill Hwalesney.
Being born in New South Wales kinda makes it hard.
|
Rive Caedo
|
Well if you just use Wales you'd get simply "Lesney" which sounds a good deal more like a name.
But yes, my spur of the moment system is a bit flawed. I do like the core idea of making sure all names aren't the same length though
My real name transfers to a really cool name using my system. Of course, since that'd give away half of my first and last name - I won't say what it is. Gotta keep myself dark and mysterious.
Maybe I'll use it for a random background character name in a year or two

I didn't want to use my exact first, middle and last names for this, but while a few things are switched up, it's not too far off.
First name - first 3 letters of your last name + first three letters of your first name
Last name - first 3 letters of your mothers maiden name + first three letters of the city you were born in
Kordan Whebro (don't like that one, especially the last name.)
First 3 letters in your pets (or would-be pets) name, plus the last 3 letters of your middle name for the first name.
First 4 letters of the town/city you live in, plus last 3 letters of the town/city you were born in for last.
Misteo Bogobro (Now that one makes me laugh)
Take your first name. Divide it in half (rounding up or down - your choice). Take the first half.
Take your last name. Divide it in half (rounding up or down - your choice). Take the second half.
That's your first name.

Haha, here's an...interesting way of doing it:
First name:
First three letters in the type of food you most recently ate + last three letters of the name of the first contact on your cell phone/email/etc.
Last name:
The first three letters in the last type of liquid you've drank + close your eyes and hit one key on your keyboard.

Baneth Tern - pretty good, actually.
(Banana Pudding, Kenneth + Water, 'n')
|
Dakoth

Wow Baneth tern.. that sounds like an actual star wars name. Perhaps I should give this a go.
Hmm.. Gave it a go. I dont even think it was pronouncable. I guess thats what I get for drinking the blood of the innocent.

Nah that's ok, just try to be more mindful of the last post. As long as you offer something new, however, it's fine.
|
Rive Caedo

We're going pretty easy on necros for this next month or so. Since there's new people's opinions to get.
As long as you don't necro something time-sensitive (IE: resurrecting a thread about a superbowl game two years ago), it'll probably be fine

Interesting how I don't think that I know the first person on my contact list... Oh well, at least her name is listed.
Broina Pepg
Ok, that ain't working for me. I need to find a combination that works for me...
|
Rive Caedo
|
The interesting thing about that one is because it's not dependent on static variables you can get a new silly name every day.
However, I would modify it to say "take the last three letters of the name on your contact list corresponding to the current day of the month (so today would be the 27th name). To give you a wider range of options for that part of the name.
Right now mine would be Strach Oran. Another pretty good one.

Mufirs Mane

I like that, but for some reason I keep getting names based around the same letter.

"Mufir's Mane: This vessel was named after the great Wookiee blitzball hero, Mufirracca"

Kobbby Gati
(Kobe Burger + Abby - Gatorade +i) Thats weird..
|
Rive Caedo
|
Heh, apparently that method is a bit prone to getting triple letters. First Adenn, now you.
Again, I'm using the modification of "take the name on your contact list corresponding to the day of the month" instead of "first contact" - so I get a variety of different names.
Fouris Hote
Four cheese pizza (mmm, nothing says laziness like frozen food) + Chris, Hot chocolate (I added a little vanilla extract - was good) + 'e'
I keep getting good ones with this method
