What animal would you reincarnate as?Jiub gave me this idea in another thread. I hope it hasn't come up here before...
Anyway, so there you go. You've died and you've come back in the body of a non-human animal.
The first question is: What would you want it to be?
The second (optional) question is: What would it be if you didn't have a choice (as in, if some external force judged you and then placed you in the body of an animal most fitting to how you lived your human life - what would it be?)
In the other thread, I jokingly suggested myself returning as a mongoose. Mostly just because I find the word mongoose hilarious and it's my go-to animal for making jokes - hehe
More seriously, I'd probably pick a duck in a park. You can fly, people feed you sometimes, and your voice is a lot less annoying than geese, plus there's no real predators as long as you stick to the park. Sounds pretty nice to me 
If I were being judged by an external force... I'm going to go with a snapping tortoise. Hard shelled and mostly non-aggresive (preferring to trap prey). A crocodile might also apply in some fashions.

I would want it to be an Eagle, or some bird of prey.
They would force me to be a cockroach, probably. But they're superior to humans so that's not too bad.

I would probably pick a Dragon.... ya. But more realistically I would have to go with a.. Hawk. You are the predator and you can fly away from anything those darn Humans are planning on the ground. That or something domestic like a Cat. =/

In this day and age, I'd want to be something that's near extinction, that way everyone has to cater to me. 
Maybe Gore's spotted owl...
I'd probably end up being a Devil Ray though, just to spite me by my name.

As I said in the other thread, I would like to be a house cat. They get to do whatever they want around the house all day. Also, they can be entertained by almost anything, they can also be annoyed by almost anything, but that is acceptable.
If becoming another animal were a judgment, I'm not sure. I've eaten a lot of chickens. So that would be the greatest irony right there. I don't know what animal I have been most similar to in my life. It depends greatly upon the day. Some days I'm lazy, like a cat. Some days, I go out and play sports and stuff like that for most of the day, like a dog, and some days I'm just taller than everyone else and go around knocking into stuff, like an elephant or something.

I would just go to the local park and eat the bread the old man in the bench throws to me. I'd go for a swim, fly a bit. That would be the life. A duck? Hell yeah!

Something I agree with, Wolves are amazing creatures.
However, I wouldn't get reincarnated. I'd come back as a vampire, use my immortality to search for a way to transform into a wolf, than become a wolf-vampire hybrid. Then I would conquer the world.

Well lets see I would probably come back as a dog. I get spoiled, get to crap wherever I want, and chase after mailmen. Sounds pretty fun to me.
But as fate would have it, an external power would reincarnate me into a cow. I will just stand eat grass all day and get bigger. That's pretty much my life. I eat all the healthy food but I continue to get bigger.

Aside from the obvious first choice of WerePire, I'm tryina be a Komodo Dragon. You know, just live on an island where I own everything and nobody screws with me. yeah I can get used to that.
Of course, if I didn't have a choice I'd probably end up being a Blue-Footed Booby Bird =/

A cat is better.
Spoiled, do ANYTHING, never work, sleep all day (if you want), sleep all night (if you want), eat anything, extremely agile, much more "regal" than a dog, and isn't a moron (in mental studies of cats and dogs, and I know that sounds stupid, it was somehow concluded that cats have far greater mental capabilities than dogs).

Fun to bite humans, living in a colony, and the death is usually painless. Hopefully it's a stomp, and not those anti insect sprays. And death by rain isn't that great either. But hopefully I'd die by a stomp.
