Discuss the best action movie since the Matrix/and or the excellent Comic/Novel.
I read the book first and thought it was excellent, I saw the movie and was kinda disappointed that it wasn't like the book but the movie was still good.

The thing with the adrenaline assassins seems cool. Shame Angelina Jolie's skin is like hanging off her face. I think they were filming this when her Mom died. Seems a lil cheesy though in the preview. "Get back!", "This was your Fathers gun.", *pause and look* "..get back"

7.6 on IMDB currently (and I usually agree with the masses - with an error margin of +-2 ). Respectable, but something I'll probably wait for on DVD or HBO. Especially since - I don't care what most guys seem to think - Angelina Jolie's lips freak me out
Call me crazy, but I like gals with relatively normal proportions (IE: Jewel Staite). So if Embeion says she looks WORSE than usual during this film - that's all I'm going to be thinking about when I see it XD
Did WALL·E already come out?! Oh my, it did! Sometimes I hate my DVR - missing every commercial is great, but every once in a great while there's something I do want to be aware of advertised. 9.3 currently on imdb (but I suspect that will drop a point or so after the non-Pixar enthusiast votes start coming in). Pixar, space, and another John Ratzenberger voice role: I can already tell I'll love it.

Yay for DVR! I got a free DVR thingie when we transferred from SBC to WOW internet and TV.

Wall-E came out the same day as Wanted.
Me and 2 of my friends were in line to see it, noticing then that Wanted was also out.
Me hating Angelina Jolie as an actress and curving the bullet, I had never the desire to see this film.
Wall-E was Pixar's best (Right up there with the original Toy Story), though only problem I had with it was it pushed a pro-green message rather than the usual Disney message, but hey, the rest of the film more than made up for it.

I just saw it and wow... The opening scene were the guy jumps out of the window kinda made me regret seeing it at first. "Like Topgun? But you have to kill me? heh just kidding". Attack of the rats was funny,lol.

I did like at the end when Fox shot em all. I thought they were all just gonna kill eachother but then after I saw it kept curving after it went through the Gunsmith you knew that was gonna happen. Was ballah

Wall-E was showing earlier than we thought, so we ended up seeing Wanted instead.

The multi-stage bullets were awesome. Glad they used a second one at the end.
As soon as the line "Cross is hiding out at the original home of the Fraternity" (approximated) came up - I worked out pretty much the entire plot that followed (including the rats). The only thing that did surprise me was the fact that everyone's name had come up - not just Sloan's.
Couldn't help but laugh though at the fact that everyone's head was hovering at exactly the same level for the circular bullet shot. You'd think there would be one rather short assassin in there
Fun romp. Had the same sort of feel as the first Karate Kid movie... except Rated R and with bullets instead of karate
