The thing is, my best friend Kristin is from Washington and she was with him for a year and she tore the man to shreds. He's a good man, I've talked to him on many occasions now and I am egar to go camping with him.

I haven't met him but I've talked to him and texted him. My friend Kris lived on Vashon Island with him before she moved here and she dated him for a year and I trust her word. She is my big sister. I'm not fearful at all. Of course, that all depends on if my parents let me go or not.

I wouldn't leave. I'd still be on post. You both are extremly mistrusting, but I am not in the least bit. I would fly to come see every one who posts on Rebels because predators do not get on family-friendly sites looking for young girls. They would be caught in an instant. I trust people. Its better to trust people than to doubt them. I have talked to him and I am an excellent judge of character (I am rarely wrong about some one's personality) and I know the actions, the motions, and the motives of those who live around me. To this I say, I understand how my life works as well as others. I am wrong, I have been wrong, but I wholeheartadly believe that this time I am right. I trust people, because the majority of people are good. Few people are "bad" but those few get the rest of the world locked up in a ball out of fear. I am not afraid.

A black dot is more apparent and visible than a white one. I beg to differ because every one that I have ever MET, as in just met or what ever else, has been good. Hitler was evil yes, but he was just one man who took a sad country of people who were losing hope and faith in everything and tried to make it better. He thought what he was doing was right, disgusting as it was.
In any case, plans changed. HE wanted to come down and see ME instead. So he wants to stay under my parents roof with me. Now, is that a bad person and who was right in this case? So mistrusting. All of you.

Trust is what makes a relationship of any kind worth while. Without trust there is nothing. If you start off a relationship with some one, just because they are far away, is stupid. Honestly, its just stupid. Thats the one thing I seriously have is trust in people because its better to trust people than to doubt them. The world becomes bleak for those who mistrust.
As far as I can tell, when some one mistrusts their who life and for once they trust some one, they get stabbed in the back.
I have NEVER been betrayed by anyone. I have NEVER been stabbed in the back by anyone. Because I give people trust first, because I don't betray them they return it to me. You can not expect anything without first giving something in exchange. Those are the laws I live my life by. Those are the laws I have always lived by.

There's a difference between trusting the people you know and love and trusting what is pretty much a complete stranger to the point of going on vacation on some island with him. Trust builds relationships, yes. It also gets people like you raped. 
Trust doesn't mean you have to believe everybody. It just means that you know and love the person enough to give them the gift of your trust. It should be something you have to earn on a deeper level than the occasional chat over the internet.

Trust is vital to a relationship, yes. But you aren't looking for a relationship with this man.
Just because you haven't it doesn't mean other people haven't. And it is only a matter of time.

It's naive to think that everyone in this world is trustworthy. When you see the amount of people who go on the internet looking for young kids to prey on it really drives the point home, and the people who rape people, and the people who steal money from old women.
You're an optimist, that's fair enough, but the majority of the people on here are realists. They're people who evidently care, we wouldn't be saying anything otherwise.

My best friend dated him for a year when she lived in Washington. I trust her. She KNOWS him, in person. Thats WHY I trust him. He's not some random guy I met, people know him and he is coming here first.
