User name for cboxthis was brought up in the cbox by SaV I think like a week ago. And I wanted to in force that.I don't think it's right to have inappropriate and immature names such as cow urine, and there were some others that I forgot. And I also believe that the cbox is used for general discussion not saying stuff like CAT PISS! like some people did. All I am asking is for that to put an end to.

I strongly agree, stuff like is like just spamming. However, this is expected. And if am not mistaken, we can't prevent this since there is no trace?

Names like Dust in the wind or some of those other random ones are ok because they have nothing offensive and do not spam the c-box IMO....but like the cat piss or whatever ones piss me off.

Dust in the wind was mine for a short while. We could have names that people would know us by for example mine can be mccdt68 and every one would know it's me

I'd hate to need to eliminate the chatbox and force everyone to use the general chat thread again - so we could easily moderate it. But it's beginning to look necessary.

I'd say that if we are to use the chat box, you have to use your forum name, or your real name, like Adenn is Tom...or Saber is Kasey...

Don't give them ideas. Plus, advertising spammers are too narrow minded to see that there's a chatbox here.

its a Cbox what do you think people are going to do with it
if you enforce all kinda crud on it then you should just take it off the forum. Should have what ever name you want, except someone elses.. Like SaV that we all have used... A name like Me or Cow Urine is fine cuz there not stealing it from someone. So what if we don't know who it exactly is

Well, its pretty bad when we can't trust you all to use the chatbox responsibly. Its there for the fact you won't have to post and its a lot faster than posting. If you all can't just follow the rules, we can just take it away, which I wouldn't want to do.

Well, commercial advertisers can be expected but I think that board members are being Immature and I think the C-box should be taken away if things continue.
