Unofficial spam thread... apparently...... To reach 1000 posts.
Seen as many other veterans usually make threads when they make posting milestones on this site I figure that I might aswell make a big deal about me being the slowest active member in the history of Rebels to reach the 1000 post plateau.
Yay me!!
(Earlier on I actually managed to post this in the "Universe" bit... Can't tell I've actually been here for two and a half years, eh?)

Double post.
We have 41 users with 1000 posts or more now.
TDSL has 27.
TDSL's top poster has over 20,000, its second highest poster has slightly more than 8,000, and its third highest poster, me, with over 6,000, hasn't posted to any great extent in nearly a year.
Rebel's top poster, me, has over 14,000 posts, its second highest poster has over 9,000 posts, as do its third and fourth, with there being no such steep drop off from then on, with there being a user in each of the 'thousands' from 9-1.
TDSL's two top posters are Shadow and Ducki.

Wow, 41 members with over 1,000 posts. That is pretty good. It would be a lot better if more of them were still active though. But we do have a couple of members that at their current rate will reach 1,000 this year. I'll be climbing up in post count if I can pick up my activity soon, I've made over 400 posts since I came back in October (I think it was October, maybe September.)

We turn every thread into General Discussion here? I guess... Generally we try to stay on topic though. At least we don't have two users posting constantly to each other for the hell of it.

And Crozeus, it wasn't for no reason. If you'll notice I had the last four posts in that thread and none of them have as yet been answered.
No one will ever beat my post count.
And Sam, only 9 people have over 7,000, Lanik is 10th with just over 6,000.

Yah, you try, but it fails usually. And they were just talking to one another, and as main admin and a Dark Lady they didn't want to waste PM space.

Waste PM space? As an admin it's fairly easy to increase the PM limit, or delete them as you receive them. Or perhaps they could use AIM considering they talk to each other there as well?
Fails to stay on topic? Not particularly... I've noticed a few debates that have gone majorely off-topic, but not much else.
Even this thread, about a post-count milestone is still on the topic of post-counts.
They were in the thread for LoES Aequitas, which I was rather eager to finish reading.

Actually, bi-weekly promotions are back... but only if you are deserving. You can't just post once a week like here and expect to get promoted.

Maybe the Sith did, the Jedi have only dished out promos for those who we really think deserve a promo.
Yeah, what was really ironic is that Will and I were finally on good terms, planning the Forum Wars, and then there was a slight disagreement with the Jedi Council as to whether a user could be a Sith on TDSL, and a Jedi here - which IMO would be perfectly acceptable, no? Anyway, me and him took on the Jedi Council lead by Rive in this debate, and Shadow and Rive locked horns, with Shadow splitting away from Rebels when he didn't get what he wanted.
Looking back on it I really can't understand the whole issue with being a Sith there and a Jedi here if everyone knew who you were. It's not like we'd ever had RPs between the two sites before the Forum Wars were going to take place.
