Jaden Nightsaber
|
The PadawanThe light slowly crept into the room of the Jedi Knight Jaden Nightsaber. He was getting his last few minutes of sleep. Soon his day would begin and he would be off the Jedi Temple once again. Being a Knight used to be so exciting to Jaden, but recently he felt plain. He longed for a mission to prove himself to be a Jedi Master. Lately that had not been happening.
He knew that he should be patient for the Council. They will decide if he was ready to become a Master. Jaden had come to terms with this but still he dreamed of being a great Jedi Master. Lightsaber whirling around faster than the normal eye could follow. That’s what everyone wanted Jaden figured. They all longed for greatness, yet only a few would reach that point.
In his dream he was standing atop a hill in the blinding light of the sun and his own inner glow. The warm orange glow was surrounding his body. Swirling around and engulfing him. It was blinding, now irritating. Jaden’s eyes shot open. The sun was now filling his bed and most of his small room. He sat up and covered his eyes with his hand. Still dreary he adjusted himself and let out a big yawn. His arms went up and out as far as they could stretching.
Jaden turned his body to the side of the bed and put his feet to the soft floor. He stood up and moved over to where his robe lied. He placed his arms through the holes and felt the warmth of the robe. He looked out his window with the sun shining in his eyes. He gazed upon the busy world of Coruscant. Always so busy, ships and speeders always bustling by.
Past the whizzing ships, the great Jedi Temple. Jaden would be heading there soon. All the Jedi Masters wanted Jaden to take on a Padawan, as was the tradition. Jaden didn’t really want to take a Padawan. Well at least not yet. But eventually he might want to pass on his knowledge. But right now he was enjoying being alone.
Before he knew it he was heading off to the Temple. The all too familiar five spires came into focus and the temple became more detailed. Every time Jaden saw those spires he couldn’t help but get a tingling feeling in his gut. One of these towers was becoming very familiar with Jaden. This was the Reassignment Council Tower. That was where young Jedi who have not been chosen by Masters to be Padawans were handled.
Jaden zeroed in on a landing pad for him and safely touched down at the Temple. Ironically his landing spot was right beneath the Temple of Reassignment. When Jaden exited his ship he looked up at the tower and let out a sigh. He began to walk south towards the Administration Center. After checking in there he was told once again to see the Jedi hopefuls. Jaden strode to the Jedi Training Facility to check up on some of his fellow Knights but those who had Padawans.
“Ivan!” Jaden shouted at the site of his friend. Ivan Dragos was an old friend of Jaden’s. As it turns out he had just recently picked up a red-skinned Twi’lek female as a Padawan.
“Jaden! How are you my friend?” Ivan walked over to him and gave him a hug. Jaden grabbed Ivan’s hood and pulled it over his head. He backed up laughing.
“I’m good, I’m good. I see you took up a Padawan now.” Jaden said looking over his shoulder at the shy Twi’lek who stayed back.
“I see you still haven’t.” Ivan gave Jaden a look almost like a father would give. Jaden sighed; it seemed everyone was on his back about this.
“Where do you think I’m headed after here?” Ivan nodded in approval. Jaden knew that he was going to have to take a Padawan one day. Unless he saw something he liked, today didn’t look like that day. “Alright, well don’t want to keep the council waiting.” Ivan agreed and they parted ways.
Jaden found himself walking once again to the all too familiar Reassignment Council Tower. He had a strange feeling that this would be another useless effort. Anyway he boarded the Turbolift and ascended to the top of the spire. Jaden stood motionless in the center of the lift. Once again he was alone. When he had a Padawan these days would be gone.
The door opened and his head snapped upward. He didn’t even know that his head had bowed down but it did when he was thinking. Jaden stepped out of the lift and walked down an uneasily cold hallway. He reached the council doors and rapped lightly upon the door. Almost immediately his knock was responded to and the doors opened.
“Jaden Nightsaber.” A voice said in a warm welcoming tone. “Welcome back.” There seemed to be an extra emphasis on that ‘back’ part. But anyway he bowed to the Council that he was getting to know better and better.
“Any new Padawan’s on the rise?” Jaden asked yet again. His fists tightened and he clenched his teeth. He inhaled and waited for the council to respond. There was a long pause while the council looked over the available Younglings. They let out a few sounds as they went through each one.
“Ahh. Here we go.” Jaden looked up at the warm faces of the Council. “There is a Youngling you may enjoy training.” He gave an inquisitive look towards the Council but they went on. “Right now he is in the training quarters, he should be engaging in a short duel soon.” Jaden nodded and got the point.
“Thank you masters.” He bowed and left them for hopefully the last time. The door closed as his robe moved swiftly behind him. Jaden entered the Turbolift and descended once again. The training quarters were very close to the Reassignment Tower, not by mistake either. Jaden looked down at his ship that lies in peace below. He loved that ship; he knew that there were a lot more adventures to come with that baby.
Then his attention shifted from his glorious ship to the training quarters which were drawing nearer. He could feel his pulse begin to speed up. No matter how many Padawan’s he had looked at, he always got nervous. There was a protocol droid out front of the doors. He was greeting and informing a few Padawans about the quarters. He smiled at them and walked in the doors as he over heard the droid say something about him. But the door shut and the sound stopped.
“Can I help you?” An elderly Jedi woman asked him. Jaden smiled at her and nodded.
“I’m here to obverse a duel.” He explained. She politely nodded and pointed him in the direction he needed to go. “Thank you.” Jaden said as he left down a corridor. He could already hear the hum and clashing of lightsabers as he continued towards the dueling chambers. The sounds got louder as he got closer.
Jaden slowly entered the doorway to the chambers. One of the duelists got distracted and looked at him. That cost him and he lost the duel. Jaden kinda felt sorry for the duelist but he should not have been distracted. He would learn that from his master who was now telling him that.
Jaden took a seat and crossed his arms waiting to see a potential Padawan to catch his eye. After the one Padawan’s master had taken him off the dueling area two more came on. One was smiling as he hopped up to the area. The other was very stern and walked with purpose. Jaden moved up in his seat so he could watch this duel better.
Their lightsabers sprang to life and the shorter, sterner one charged. The tall Youngling moved out of the way but stuck his lightsaber out to catch him. He smiled as the shorted one looked at him. He pushed the saber out of the way and they clashed several times over head. The taller boy’s Shii-Cho was far more advanced than the other boy’s. But then the boy pulled out something Jaden didn’t see coming.
The boy switched to Djem So. This was a move that Jaden thought impossible for such a young boy. This child had great talent. He knew who his first Padawan would be. After switching to Djem So the smaller boy began to overwhelm the taller Youngling. This battle was already over. Well, it should have been but the smaller boy kept going. Until finally one of the Masters who was over seeing the duels called for a stop.
They both switched off their lightsabers and shook hands. The taller one went back to the seats and sat down bowing his head. The smaller boy went to go sit down but Jaden stopped him. The Youngling looked up at him in awe as he led the boy into the hallway. He did not speak but he ever so intently listened to whatever Jaden were to say.
“I saw your duel out there.” Jaden looked out, not at the boy. The boy smiled though. “I liked your use of Djem So.” The boy was even happier now. He almost knew what was coming to him. “I’d like for you to be my Padawan.” The boy gladly nodded and Jaden looked down at him. He took the boy under his arm and led him off to the Council.
This time Jaden was entering the Reassignment Council with a smile on his face and boy under his arm. The turbolift ride seemed a bit awkward, silent mostly. But that didn’t matter much to either of the people in it. The door opened and Jaden saw the hallway in a whole new light now. The door to the chamber slowly opened and he strode in leaving the boy to wait in the hall.
“Back so soon, Jaden?” A short Jedi Master said. Jaden gave a nod an opened the door for the boy.
“I have found my Padawan.” The entire council seemed to nod in agreement. Jaden and the boy bowed deeply and thanked them for their patience. Jaden after all these years of waiting found the perfect Padawan for him. And he knew just where to take him.
Ragoon VI was a planet in the Galactic Core. Not many people where allowed here. Only Jedi and people from Aaeton could visit the beautiful planet. The only bad thing about Ragoon VI was the malia that lived there. Jaden and his Padawan would travel there in Jaden’s ship, The Eagle’s Eye. It was a good place to train, quiet, peaceful.
The ship blew fragments of tree away as it began to touch down. On the flight over Jaden and his Padawan got to know each other very well. They shared stories and had a good time. The ship touched down softly and Jaden lowered the boarding ramp. They would no doubted have to explain themselves to the nearest locals. So after Jaden shut the ship down he and his new Padawan headed for the closest camp that they saw overhead. So if they saw the camp, the camp definitely saw them and was probably heading towards them.
“Quickly, we have to make time before they get to us.” He didn’t object and ran with Jaden. Through the forest they went, making their way through trees and logs that were once trees. Jaden looked back once to see if his Padawan was keeping up, which he was. When he turned back, there was a blade in his face. Out of instinct he pulled out his lightsaber and cut down the blade. Immediately afterward he stopped dead in his tracks. His Padawan came a few seconds after but stopped as well.
“So, sorry, it was out of instinct. We are Jedi here to train, as you can see.” Jaden explained to the brave Ragoon warrior.
“Yes, you are Jedi.” The male said inspecting his now useless blade. The rest of the tribe came out from their respective hiding places. He looked at the Padawan that stood behind. “Be lucky you have him with you. Be safe Jaden and always watch out for the malia.”
“I am thankful I have him.” The Padawan gave a nod to Jaden. He moved next to him. “What are the malia?” The tribe leader answered for Jaden.
“The malia are vicious animals that live here. Malia have been known to attack anything in their way. They are fast, agile, deadly creatures, fierce predators with triple rows of yellow teeth and have blue-grey fur. They hunt at night. They have a gleam of fluorescent green eyes. They have a long, tapered snout. They are also lean, rangy creatures with very quick reflexes. Some legends said that if you hear a malia's cry, you are already dead.” Jaden could tell that the tribe leader had told this story many times before. He himself had heard it a few times. The Padawan looked around a bit and then looked up at Jaden. “Be lucky you have him with you…” And he led the tribe back to the camp.
“Relax.” Jaden said as he slowly walked back to the ship. The Padawan looked around and quickly followed Jaden. It was a longer walk back to the ship because they weren’t running this time. The day was turning into night quicker and quicker. They needed to set up camp soon.
Jaden found an open clearing not too far from where the ship had landed. They would set up camp there. But by the time the two were done setting up night had fallen. Jaden sent his Padawan out for some firewood while he finished up. He returned and they started the fire for the night.
“Get some sleep, tomorrow you will begin your training.” He nodded and went in his tent. Jaden stayed out stirring the fire every once and a while.
Jaden was thinking to himself now that he was alone. Finally, a Padawan. He thought as he leaned back against a small log. He had not been to Ragoon VI in a while; he forgot how peaceful it was. His eyes began to close to the sound of the crackling of the wood burning.
The tent unzipped and his Padawan stepped out to talk to his master. He looked to see that he was sleeping. He turned and began walking a bit away from the camp. He kicked his foot in the grass just walking around. He couldn’t sleep. Excitement had been in his system all day since his duel. He looked back to see the fire small in the distance. He turned around and began to walk back to camp.
He was just about back in his tent. He took a look at Jaden when suddenly his eyes opened. That was the last thing he saw of Jaden. A flash of green blinded his eyes so he covered them with his hands. Jaden stood a few inches behind him panting with his lightsaber held out. On the ground was a blueish-grey piece of meat that was once an animal. You could see the yellow rows of teeth. A malia. The green blade went back inside its hilt and the area became a bit darker.
“Like I said, get some sleep.” Jaden clipped his hilt back on his belt and walked back to his log.
The morning came fast and when it did Jaden was ready. His Padawan stepped out of his tent and was greeted by a rock whizzing at his face. He quickly moved his head but the rock smashed into his tent and hit something inside.
“Always be aware.” Jaden said not even looking up from his breakfast. “Hungry?” Jaden offered breakfast and he raised his spoon. He nodded and sat down across from Jaden. Jaden passed some food over to him. “Eat up, you’ll need it.”
His Padawan ate his fill and then stood up to look at Jaden. He nodded at his master. He was ready to fully begin his training. Jaden picked up a stone from the ground and turned around. He carefully served the landscape and found his mark. He looked over at his Padawan and winked at him. His arm reared back and launched the stone far beyond the eye’s sight.
“Did you see where the stone went?” The Padawan shook his head ‘no’ with a confused look. “Well, go find it.” Jaden said as he slowly walked into his tent. The Padawan stood there very confused. Jaden came out to grab something and saw his Padawan had not moved.
“Is there a problem?” Jaden asked standing up.
“Uh….” The Padawan tried to find words.
“I thought not, now go find the stone.”
He mumbled a ‘Yes master’ as he slowly walked away. He didn’t understand this at all. He expected to be flinging around lightsabers and using the force to do amazing feats. But no he had to go chase down some stone. He figured it had to have something behind it. The young boy continued his trek kicking sticks along the way. He looked back at the camp to see that it really wasn’t there.
“Stupid stone…” He said and he turned back before falling into a small impact hole, about the size of the stone Jaden had. The stone! He yelled in his head before the pain hit him in the leg. It must have skipped from here. It couldn’t be far. He pushed himself up and noticed the sound of running water. His legs began to move quicker towards his goal. He could see the short waterfall now. He stopped in amazement.
“Good job.” Jaden said tossing the stone he threw up and down. He sat upon a pile of stones as his Padawan stood above looking down. The Padawan was amazed that Jaden had beaten him there.
“Beautiful isn’t it.” Jaden said as he casually turned about the place. He would often come here to meditate. The waterfall that lined the wall came down peacefully occasionally splashing onto the small stone islands where the rocks piled up.
“How?” He managed to ask looking around the wonderful place.
“There is more than one road to paradise.” Jaden smiled and his Padawan smiled back. They stayed there and meditated for a while.
Jaden had begun to lift rocks in his meditation, rearranging them. Suddenly they all came crashing down. His Padawan’s head shot over to him.
“It is time to go.” Jaden stated simply. He flipped out of the small alcove and waited for his Padawan. He chose to climb up out instead. Jaden pulled down both of his arms and a near by tree came crashing down, headed towards his Padawan. His Padawan leaped back down and held his hands over his head. The tree blocked his exit.
“I…I can’t get out!” He yelled out to Jaden. Jaden shook his head.
“You can. You just have to find out how.” The Padawan sighed below, without his lightsaber he couldn’t cut through this. He leaped and tried to move it with just his strength but it was far too big to be moved like that. He tried again but he only hurt his shoulder.
“It’s too big!” He yelled. His voice muffled by the tree’s leaves.
“Size does not matter. I’ll see you back at the camp.” Jaden said turning to walk back to his camp. He looked back for an instant. His eyes surveyed the area, looking for anything. Jaden could have sworn he felt something in the brush but he felt nothing now.
“Wait! Come back! Help me!” But his pleas fell upon deaf ears, or so he thought.
Jaden walked back to his camp with a smile on his face. He was very happy with his teachings so far. If things went as Jaden hoped they would his Padawan would become a great Jedi. This thought alone made Jaden very happy.
Back at camp he was cooking up an early dinner for himself with his mind always on his Padawan. Jaden wasn’t going to wait on him though. Still he wanted to know how he was progressing.
Night was falling and he was still having no luck getting the tree out of the way. Every so often he would try to push it from underneath with a strong force behind it but the tree was simply too large. He sat down against the rock wall.
“Stupid tree!” He yelled out in anger. What does moving a tree have to do with being a Jedi? He thought rather annoyed. His eyes glanced up at the tree still there, taunting him. His anger quickly turned to fear and depression. He was all alone out here, only a Padawan. Was his master ever coming back? Would this be the place he died?
“HELP! PLEASE! SOMEBODY HELP ME!!” He yelled out for anyone. He didn’t know how long he had been in this hole but it felt like forever to him. Just when he thought that no one would ever come to save him, soft footsteps could be heard brushing the grass.
“Who’s there?! Can you help me please? I’m stuck down here!” He yelled out not knowing who, if anyone stood above. A cold voice called down to him, a bit muffled by the leaves.
“What seems to be the problem here?” His voice with no emotion, no care for the situation. He knew what was going on, but he wanted to here this young boy plead for his help.
“I’m stuck down here! Please help me get out!” He pleaded, his voice shaking with fear. He was getting delusional down there.
“Now, how did you get stuck all the way down here?” The man’s voice asked with a bit of mockery in it now.
“A mission from my master. Can you help me now?” He spat out annoyed. Now that someone was here and not helping it was worse than just being down there alone.
“That depends on what you’re willing to do for me.” He said in a high-business like voice. The Padawan could hear that he was pacing around the hole now waiting for a response. “I said, what will you do for me?!” He was more demanding this time.
“Anything just get me outta here!” Visions were going through his head now, his starved body found months later by the natives. In his head now, he believed that if he didn’t accept whatever this man would offer he would die.
“Anything?” His chilling voice ran down the Padawan’s spine. He had stopped moving now.
“Yes! Just please, get me out!” He was pleading, his lower lip trembling.
The tree flew away in a rush of sound revealing a starry sky above. His eyes had to adjust to the new lighting, it wasn’t much brighter but it wasn’t complete darkness anymore. He jumped onto a near rock sticking out of the earthy wall. He reached up his hand to grab another rock but it was not there. The man reached down just in time to grab hold of the Padawan’s wrist. The Padawan finally looked up into the eyes of his savior.
Jaden had dozed off to sleep in his tent. He was trying to read his datapad when he could no longer fight off sleep. The datapad lay on his chest, rising and falling with the deep breaths he took while sleeping.
In his dream he was walking along a dirt path, in a forest. This was a planet Jaden hadn’t visited yet. He could tell by the types of trees. They weren’t like one’s he’d seen before. He kept walking among these trees, admiring their beauty. While he was looking up at the canopies of the huge trees he caught a smell of smoke. He turned in an instant and started running towards the smell. He couldn’t see the smoke yet but he could still smell it. His feet carried him as fast as they could and still no sign of smoke. Now he could hear the popping of the fire as it crackled, almost in his ear. But all around there was nothing but these trees. Jaden stopped to catch his breath but that didn’t last long because there was a strike of lightning in front of him. It flashed for only and instant but it did its purpose.
Jaden snapped up in his tent. He was sweating but it wasn’t from the dream. His tent was on fire. He ran out of it as fast as he could. When he reached his campsite he found that the whole thing was on fire. Jaden found his way to the middle of camp and centered himself. He had to act fast. The fire was growing and eating at his camp. Jaden pulled his hands in, bringing himself to his center. Like the flash of lightning that woke Jaden up he thrust his arms outward causing a force wave to pass throughout the camp. The force of the wave completely doused the fire and tossed some of the camp about.
He stood there panting, trying to figure out what had just happened and how it happened. The eerie silence that engulfed the camp afterwards seemed to have Jaden on edge. He looked around; the embers glowed with each gust of wind. Nothing seemed to make sense. Jaden’s eyes darted to his Padawan’s tent. It was burnt to a crisp, but no sign that he had been in there when it burned.
The sun began to rise as Jaden went through the wreckage of what once was his camp. Nothing too major had been lost in the fire. He was crouched down sifting through ashes when he saw it glimmer in the light. Something shiny was under that ash. He reached through the ash and grabbed a hold of it. Some of the ash fell off as he raised it up through the ash. It was a datapad. He eyed it suspiciously, for this wasn’t his datapad and it didn’t look too damaged by the fire. Jaden stood up and looked around for an answer. It did not lie outside however. His answers lied within.
He looked down on the dim screen; the buttons seemed to be mocking Jaden to press them. As he turned it slightly in his hand he could see the sun reflected on its glassy surface. His thumb found the power button and he played with the idea of turning it on as he massaged the small button.
The screen suddenly illuminated, giving off a small blue glow as it powered up. Jaden’s hand slowly moved away from the screen giving him a clear view of the screen. The words jumped out at him as they loaded up. His eyes ran across the lines of text as fast as they appeared on the screen and zoomed up to their place in the document. He had a bad feeling about this.
Jaden, you’re quick. Much quicker than I thought. So now that you’re reading this at the burned down remnants of your camp you must be wondering how I know all this. Yes, I am the one who is the cause of your camp fire. Yes, I am why your Padawan has not returned yet. We’ll get to these answers all in due time.
All you’re concerned about now is who I am and how you can get to me, am I right? Well, I’ll tell you where you should go. Depending on how you do there you might or might not be able to meet me. Midday tomorrow by the downed tree. I think you know where that is.
This didn’t make any sense. What did this mean? Jaden’s mind was racing around and around. He needed to rest his head and clear his thoughts. He looked back down at the datapad then he turned it off and slid it into his robe pocket. Needing to concentrate Jaden went off to meditate.
The next day came all too quickly for Jaden. He still did not have this whole thing figured out. But nonetheless he had to move on to the tree that he himself downed earlier that week. His feet began to carry him to the designated spot. As he moved Jaden tried to take everything in on his walk, trying to be able to feel everything. The tree came into sight and Jaden’s hand moved right to his lightsaber hanging from his right side.
The tree was lying there, muffling the sound of rushing water from underneath. Was his Padawan still down there? The tree looked like it had moved over the past couple days. The excess of broken branches around the tree was a testament to that.
“Glad to see you’ve come.” A familiar voice rang out behind Jaden.
“Hello.” Jaden said without turning to face him. He could sense a lot of the dark side in this one.
“My master says that you can meet with him if you can beat me.” The voice said loaded with swagger.
“Your master?” Jaden asked as he turned around to face him. “What has he done to you? Please come back with me, together we can defeat him and I can show you the way to the light.”
“All he has done is shown me the ways that you were only too afraid to show or even mention to me. He does not fear that his apprentice will become stronger than him.” His voice was rising along with his temper. His hand was now gripping his new lightsaber hilt.
“He doesn’t fear it because he doesn’t plan on you living long enough to do that!” Jaden pleaded with his former Padawan.
“Well I guess you won’t live long enough to see that either!” He yelled as pulled out the lightsaber that his new master gave him. His feet were pounding the earth. With each pounding step he grew closer to his goal that his master set. He would be so proud seeing him strike down his former master.
Jaden quickly spun out of his robe and pulled his lightsaber out as his old Padawan ran by him. He spun around and faced Jaden.
“You don’t have to do this!” Jaden yelled to him. His Padawan simply responded by charging again. All Jaden could do was dodge him. He couldn’t bring himself to fight him.
Jaden’s steps quickened as his Padawan’s speed increased. He was taking wild swings at Jaden, trying desperately to hit him. Jaden had to put a stop to it. He was gone but not lost yet. He backed his way up to the tree that he himself downed. Jaden stood there waiting for his Padawan to charge. When he did Jaden turned the top of his body allowing his Padawan to miss with his big slash. Jaden ignited his lightsaber and swung hard on the end of his Padawan’s lightsaber blade. The sudden balance difference was too much for the Padawan to handle and the hilt went spinning away from him. Caught in a moment of shock the Padawan was caught off guard with no weapon. Jaden, taking advantage of his positioning kicked him in the back sending him back under the tree.
Jaden acted quickly moving the tree to further block the exit, trapping him there. Back to where the lesson started to begin with.
“I thought you were stronger than this!” Jaden yelled down to him.
“LET ME OUT!” Jaden heard the muffled scream from below.
“Good show. Good show.” Someone said a bit in front of Jaden. He looked up to see the man who must have been the man to corrupt his Padawan. “Too bad about the boy though.” His voice was light, almost laughing.
“Who are you?” Jaden asked looking the man up and down.
“He had so much potential too.” The man continued on. You could still hear the yells of Jaden’s Padawan down trapped under the tree.
“Who are you?” Jaden said again with more emphasis.
“Too bad.” He said without much remorse in his voice. With that he pulled out a thermal detonator. Jaden’s eyes grew big moving from the detonator to the tree. Before Jaden could try and get him out of the hole the man threw the detonator with all his might through the tree.
“NO!” Jaden yelled diving on top of the tree only to fall on top of the hole that the detonator went through. Jaden had the displeasure of hearing his Padawan’s final moments. Those sounds would stay with Jaden forever. The final beep and the silence that seemed to be too long and the faint sound of laughter in the background. Jaden got hit with a few woodchips as it finally blew.
When Jaden looked up from the blast he could see the smoke billowing up from the hole. Out from the smoke came a blast of lightning so strong it knocked Jaden back into a tree. He hit the trunk and was instantly knocked out. His tunic was smoking a bit from the intense heat from the blast. Jaden was alone once again.
Once again Jaden found himself in front of the Jedi Council. This time explaining what had happened to him and his Padawan on Ragoon VI. The looks on the faces of the Council said all that was needed to Jaden. But somehow he couldn’t help but thinking that this was his entire fault.
“We understand your loss comes at a great expense but we must learn to let go.” The council lectured Jaden. He nodded in agreement.
“The past is the past and there is nothing we can do to change that. It is the will of the force.” Jaden knew they were right but still felt that something was wrong about that day.
“Now, can you put the past in the past?” A council member asked Jaden.
“Yes sir I can.” Jaden said eagerly knowing that he could do what they asked.
“Good for we have a mission for you and some others.”
