The Mortal Kombat Tournament.I was wondering, since a lot of people like my tournament, and are signing up, would it be alright if I held one every month? That way, we could have a "Champion of Mortal Kombat" sig.

In this kind of tournament you wouldn't kill each other Vexen, and DaK means that whoever beats the other most covincingly, because otherwise you could go on forever with no winner.

Nah, but yeah, time wise, if we were gonna hold one every month, and have a champ, and say the tournament goes on for like two weeks, we'd be constantly changing people's signatures every two weeks. So wouldn't it be better to maybe hold it every three months or something?

A lot of people, even on just this forum master more than one form.
But as for the mortal Kombat thing, I think it would probably be a good thing to have them like evrey two or three months like Xander said. I'm probably not going to be joining one for awile.

Yeah, which shouldn't happen, because that would be physically impossible. Ataru requires much physical toughess, to perform acrobatic tricks, whereas Makashi requires high mental stamina, so to Master both you would have to have an extremly high amount of time on your hands to have extremly high physical endurance AND mental endurance. And thats just two.

Ok yeah. Every two months. See, in Darth Vexen vs. SaV, they fight it out to the death, non-canon of course, then the winner advances to the next round. So, he/she would face the winner of a different match. And eventually, we'd have gotten down to just two kombatants. They fight it out, and have a spectacular fatality finish, then that winner is the Champion of Mortal Kombat, and they hold that title till the next tournament. And maybe we could have some kind of storyline for the current tournament and some reason why each fighter has joined, like is Darth Vexen hopeing to win this tournament to obtain power? That type of thing. Get what I'm saying?

Yeah, but I mean, if theres a story, then it would have to be believable, so why are all these Jedi joining a tournament to fight Sith? Isn't that a bit out there?

I don't really like the idea. I mean one of the matches could go on with no end. Some people really dislike dying in roleplays...well not that your supposed to like it, but some people just don't know when to end it, and the matches really could just go on and on.
You can do it, lol I don't care, but I don't think it should be some huge deal on the forum or anything, Ipretty much just don't want to be dragged into GMing it or anything.

Yeah, that was one of my main concerns. Neither person is going to say "I don't want to win this, I'll let him kill me" because, face it, unless you "kill" yourself in your own post, if they kill you, then you're gonna claim they're God-Modding. Like recently, I let Dakoth win in our duel, which I think was great.
The problem is, if you think you should die, then you wouldn't have joined the tournament.
