This fanfiction will be written be my and Cain aka Lanik, about his new character Cain. We could use a few other characters, Sith/Jedi alike, etc. Here is the list of characters so far. To understand the first chapter also posted, you could look at Vikro's story, its in his fanfiction located in his profile, one of the last entries will have parts from this Chapter.

Chapter 1

“Damn you, Jedi! Damn you!” shouted her voice.

A voice of a woman that once had the chance to change the fate of two individuals, one who would die in the next moments of this and, one who would raise high upon what his father laid out for him, a path to a future with power, fall from that and raise to a standard of another side, which he should have hated.. But one individual did not allow that to happen, after revealing himself as a relative in later events, after countless struggles between the two, a boy who had one of the most troubling childhoods rose above his expectations and created a meaningful future for himself.

“I offered you the chance…but you did not take it.” said a man’s voice.

“Go on, kill me, what will the children think of you?” said the woman’s voice again

“If you didn’t notice, you are dying, my saber didn’t cauterize the wound, you will bleed to death.” said the man’s voice again.

Dying. Wound. Death. These words echoed through one’s mind for what seemed like centuries, eons, but it was only a few seconds. A glimpse of what was really happening shot right back at the man, and he realized there was not only one life at stake here, but two if this woman were to die. He had to spare at least one, for he did not do anything wrong.

“A trance, you must agree with me, or he cannot be saved.” said the man through a look he gave the woman.

She nodded, and mouthed something, which the man would later find to be the word “Daren Mhoon” and what seemed like death to the two who were standing there, it was a mere illusion, she would live if not only long enough to save another.

The events that passed next flashed ever so quickly, another death, an escape, and countless other losses one man had experienced. If only he could have done a better job, things would be different, it wouldn’t be the way it was and it would have gone a bit better.

The events of him carrying the woman to a private shuttle for medical attention, received the life of the child as the woman died. He was not completely human though, much to the man’s surprise, and moments before she died, she nodded in his confusion, something he had to figure out for himself. Then she died.

The man looked at the child in his arms, a life, a hope for things to come, something good after all these terrible events that passed him these last few days.

“Cain.” said the man, blinking.

The man took the child and looked for someone of the name of Daren Mhoon. He found him on Zeltros. He was a military leader, and the man left him with him. He discussed the man Daren what had happened, and that he should be hidden for a while, away from it all until the man would come back for him, and train him if he desired such a thing. And the man left.

Vikro then sprang awake from his dream of the past.

Jedi Council Chamber, Bakura.

“But the threat of the Nagai, Tofs, and Hirmori exist against the Zeltron government.” stated Jedi Master Vikro, in deep debate with the Council.

“I understand that, Vikro, but we don’t have many Knights to spare at the moment, and I think this is more of a personal intrest for you, if you understand what I am saying.” said Grand Master Abba

Vikro squinted at Abba, who was not by too far, his superior. Taking a deep breath, he sat up and examined his situation.

“There is no telling that he would be anywhere near where the battle would end up being, the odds of finding him are very low.” stated Vikro

“Understood, but nothing is impossible with the Force, you know this just as well as I do Master Vikro. The threat of the invasion is just too small to look at right now.” concluded Abba, who straightened her posture.

“Fine, but what do the others have to say?” asked Vikro, eyeing the rest of the Jedi Council.

“I…” Jedi Master Koras cleared his throat. “I think Abba is right, Vikro.” said Koras, not looking Vikro in the eye.

“I also concur.” said Shatterpoint, fixing her posture as she listened to the others discuss the threat on Zeltron.

And that was majority, Rive Caedo and Jaden Nightsaber were away on separate missions, and that was the Council at this point in time on Bakura.

“Then it is decided, Council Meeting adjourned.” said Abba, as everyone got up and walked out. Except for Vikro, who had a scowl on his face and continued sitting in his seat.

Abba walked over to him.

“Look, I’d just as well like to find him too, but…we can’t do it now, even if there are things to attend to on the planet.” she said

“I know, I was listening well, I have ears, Master Abba.” said Vikro, with an edge to his voice.

“Hm, be like that then.” she said, walking out of the Council chambers.

“I’m a Jedi Council Member, I can go on my own mission, and there are a few Knights here that would easily come with me.” thought Vikro to himself.

He hurried down the Temple corridors, and into the training room, and there he saw his old apprentice, Xander Vos.

“Xander, end your training sequence, I need your help.” said Vikro. “Follow me, and I’ll explain after we go get Lanik.”

“Yes, Master.” said Xander, following behind.

As they reached Lanik’s quarters, Lanik was already waiting outside.

“You know its impossible to sneak up on me, Uncle.” said the past Sith. “You are lucky I don’t try to listen in on the Council meetings.” he said with a grin.

“Yeah, yeah. I need your…” Vikro was cut off.

“…help” said Lanik, finishing Vikro’s sentence.

“Yes, I need you both to help me with something.” said Vikro.

“Look, the planet Zeltron is going to be invaded, by numerous forces, and we are the only ones who acquired this information, so we are obligated to do something, the other Council Members denied my request because of few knights and think it’s a personal thing for me. So I need you both to come with me to aid them in their conflict.” said Vikro

“Zeltron?” said Xander and Lanik at the same time.

“Yeah, you probably have never heard of it, but we need to go there…now, before the Council finds out.” said Vikro.

“I will take responsibility for both of your actions for coming along.” he continued,

“Wait, you said personal things?” asked Lanik. “That usually means family with you, doesn’t it, Uncle?”

“You’ll find out soon enough, Nephew.” said Vikro, mimicking Lanik’s tone.

They made their way to a transport in the hangar bay, doing a quick check of systems and such, and blasted their way out of the Temple, and headed for Zeltros.

“What the…” said Abba to herself, hearing the noise of the ship taking off.

“Oh, Vikro, I swear, when you get back…” she said to herself

The Planet Zeltron: Royal Palace Gates

As his ear-length hair flowed with the slight breeze on the planet that day, the young Zeltron Corporal gazed up at the overcastted sky, looking as if something was going to happen. Which it didn’t. The majority of the Zeltrons were attending to some vistors in the kitchens, with a banquet, but this young Corporal decided to get some fresh air.

He, of all people, was the first to notice the numerous ships coming into the planet’s atmosphere.
