The Clone Wars: Episode 13 Discussion
"Greed and fear of loss are the roots that lead to the tree of evil." Gosh darnit. I missed the first ten minutes of the episode. I need Tivo. 
Did anyone else notice how the episodes seem to be getting darker. I haven't watched the last one, so that might be my mad dillusions. Overall, a great episode. The music fit perfectly with the setting of Maridun and the lighting effects - particularly during the closing sequence - were beautiful. It seemed to me like the animation was more fluid and realistic (by Star Wars standards) than before. I was excited by Aayla Secura's debut. I trusted it would live up to expectations based on how they worked with Kit Fisto. They also managed to give Aayla a fitting, light french accent. No Gungans either. I also like how the show manages to give a personality to the clones rather than the faceless mercs we're used to seeing. Overall a great episode. Aayla Secura is hot. There's no denying it now. It's set on Maridun?!?! This I need to see!
If anyone read any of my early FF on this site, specifically three short stories set in the first person of Xander's mother, Lysa Sornfree, they were set on Geonosis, and then Maridun, which was a random Outer RIm planet I picked as the setting of a Clone Wars battle near the time of Order 66. |

Ya I usually just use surfthechannel for TV shows and watch-movies for movies. I was really just commenting on how were are all lost and blind without Rive. Well not really but tired and broken?

Watching 13 + 14 now. Very similar to my plot line, with the Separatist base, etc. Just no big Republic Army with a random Jedi. 
I swear Rive's really a script writer and chucked this in for me. "I suppose we do owe you our thanks. But at what cost...?" SUCH a lead in to my short story.
