The Art of the Expanded Universe

What would you guys think of such a book? It was brought up in the Welcome Some BCAT VIPS thread on TOS, and she's sounding like it could seriously happen with enough fan support.

I think it would be brilliant, having proper portraits for all the major characters, as well as snapshots from heated battles from the Clone Wars, the Galactic Civil War, the Yuuzhan Vong War, and the Corellian Insurrection.

I agree.  Putting a face on some of the names would be very cool.

I'd actually consider buying something like this.

I haven't bought - for instance - the "New Essential Guide"s because they contain mostly information I already know.

But, they do contain sometimes interesting images - just not enough to warrant a purchase.

I do usually end up seeing them online on Wookieepedia though Razz

Here's a few they did in the latest guidebook.

I don't like how they did Mara's hair here - but it's still a good image. Mara Jade's funeral.

The image of Mara's funeral is amazing, I actually really like that one. The artwork of Lumiya and Luke fighting is also pretty cool, gives you a more clear image of the whole duel.

even though we've got it on the cover of Invincible, I'd like to see more.
