Since I began roleplaying now...Should there be a limit to powers that you can use? Depending on your rank. I saw Koolon or Ghost one of the two made a profile and they had a force power that obviously a padawan wouldn't know. So like until you gain a certain rank you can't use different powers.

Yea like DnK(the one who everyone hates..lol) Said his specail talent was levitating..now..I know he's young and well was gone for awhile so im tring to teach him how to make your post worthwhile and not godmod..so yea a system like this would be excellent.

Me and Brian will get it together soon, it will have limits based on what rank you are for Basic Force powers, etc.

well there is one solution to godmodding- you could have a "gamemaster" esque person in an RP, one who acts as a moderator, controlling the NPCs, describing the locale and mood of a place, and deciding the outcome of a players action. just a thought- i might actually want to try out an RP like that.

See, when I was a Padawan, I had NO Force powers, and I gradually "learnt" them from Vikro, and as soon as I became a Jedi Knight, I began to master the powers I had learnt, and am gradually learnign some special abilities.
I can't levitate, or destroy worlds, or anything like that.

what are you talking about? if you think the "game master" concept thing is a DSL esclusive kinda thing you're wrong- not to mention i've never seen the duel section of the TDSL site.

Practice duel section also RPs have GMs too

it would be like D&D...which I really don't like btw lol. I don't like that game all that much. But yeah have someone moderate the roleplay and profile creation.

im not talking like hardcore stats, but just as a way to prevent godmodding and keep the plot on track. i think a gm would help make some RPs last to thier conclusion.
