I have an Idea and I have talked with SaV and he agrees and disagrees, and it will not be Mandatory to do so.

But I think it is a good idea.

Idea:
Say for example Sav is training me and somebody else who we'll call Jak, wants a Master but doesn't know who already has a padawan or not. So he goes and asks around and everybody has a Padawan already.

In order to avoid confusion I think that we should put something like this in our signature.

EXAMPLE:
Vander training ____ <-- where the person name goes that you're training.

or if you're awaiting somebody to train you should put this

Vander awaiting a Padawan.

So what do you guys think?

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. But will happen to the "apply for a master/apprentice" thread?

It will stay there, but remember that this is not Mandatory. To me it will allow not that much confusion among the new comer's of the site and hopefully allow better precision on who is training who.

And besides this has nothing to do with the Apply for a Master/Apprentice thread. All this is doing is to allow others to see who you are training and who is available. It will be in your signature and not in the Apply thread.

Also an addition.

If you are being trained by someone please put

EXAMPLE:

Vander being trained by SaV. <-- example

(Also not Mandatory.)

Good idea, and you're welcome to do it, but as Jaden said, that's what the Master/Apprentice pairs thread is for.

I think that it's a good idea. Not everyone checks up on the Masters/Apprentices thread every day. It would also just help us say who has been waiting for a Master or Apprentice the longest.
