Hey, I'm Mr. Retro. If you want to know about why I chose the name, it's because I'm in love with 50s futurism, and 50s music. It's a thing of mine. I'm a writer, and an avid roleplayer (albeit I am not able to do it often as my friends often bale on me) and I am familiar to system-based roleplaying and "freestyle" roleplaying. I'm also an administrator on several forums and I know how hard it is, so I'll give you guys as little trouble as humanly possible.

Ironically, I found this site through an article badmouthing this place.

Honestly, I couldn't care less what little scandals went on here, and hearing about what happened only made me want to join more, because it meant people actually had opinions here. Sorry if you guys wanna keep this dead, I'm just saying how I got here.

I've been more-or-less a fan of Star Wars for most of my short life (I'm fifteen, turning sixteen in November), although I'm much more a fan of science fiction in general. One of the reason I decided to join this place is because I read Darths and Droids, and since I actually found the concept of the movies being roleplays in reality, I thought this might be fun. My characters are probably going to be Knight Templar types, amoral psychopaths, or just people who like to enjoy themselves.

I enjoy talking to people via IM, so feel free to do that. I must warn you, though, I'm a narcissist who has a very dark sense of humour, and I'm also incredibly sarcastic, so a lot of you might find me frustrating to talk to.

Well, I hope that sums it all up for you guys. Let's see if I can RP here functionally.

The whole thing with Jianna has kind of died down, though as long as you don't think we really are a horrible pack of biased monsters, then that's all we really need to say about the matter.

My character is an amoral nihilist, so we'll get along just fine Wink

Also, if you want an already established order, join Jedi. If you want to get into an order just before it gets rebooted (meaning you can participate in roleplays that Korus/Acheron has planned to set the order off), join Sith.

Also, the Sith have different Orders. I am the head of the Church of the Dark Side and the Council of Inquisitors.

Hope you enjoy, and glad to see new blood. Perhaps some good has come of Jianna's incident.

We also are RP'd based. If you join the Jedi your promotion will come from spam. If you join the Sith your promotion will come from RPing. This guarantees that the Sith are more prepared

I have indeed played Fallout 3, although that's not where I got my love of 50s stuff. I was in love with Star Trek and Buck Rodgers (Star Trek came out in the 60s, so it counts) since day 1, and I've always thought it was cool how optimistic they were about the future.

I'm probably going to do Sith, as I don't agree with the Jedi repression of emotion. I figure that the Sith could actually do better than the Jedi if they did something either than grab power.

I'm pretty much the same with Retro. I'm only a Jedi because I was always a Sith up until I joined Rebels. Variety is the spice of death.

Yeah, I'm gonna go with Sith. I was rooting for Darth Maul in Episode 1, and Vader in Episodes 4 through 6.

Guys, guys. It doesn't really matter that much what side I joined, and besides, I would have made a terrible Jedi. Disproportionate justice is my thing. So seriously, don't make such a fuss about sides. Not like the universe is actually hanging in the balance, heh... Or IS IT!?
