Sa'ar Rulo's trainingWell, since I err... approved myself, here is where your training will be.
I will inform you in each training post if it will be "In-Character" (IC) or "Out of Character" (OOC)
I will give you a series of tests, to see if you're ready to progress the ranks on this forum.
After you progress the Apprenticeship ranks, eventually you will become a Jedi Knight. The first few ranks should not take long. Promotions around here come close to weekly. But take note, you may not always recieve a promotion.
Through a series of In-Character trials, I might teach you a few new special Force powers, or even some lightsaber forms. You could even request a certain Force power or saber form you are interested in, and I could teach you it.
Now, for your first trial. This will be an In-Character roleplay. (If you want to learn about my character, look for "Koras Aldamar" in the Profiles section.)
Koras stood in front of his new padawan, on the snow planet of Ilum, inside the crystal cave.
"Now, it is time to constuct your lightsaber, Sa'ar." Koras said calmly.
(Go to thelightsaber.com and then to histories to pick a hilt, or just pick one from somewhere else.)
"First, pick your hilt and blade color." Koras said.

"Yes master," Sa'ar had saved the saber parts that he had wanted to use in building his saber, he pulled them out and showed them to Koras.

Koras glanced over to a workbench in the corner of the cave.
"Build your hilt there, if you need help, ask." Koras said.
Soon, after close to 45 minutes or so, as Koras thought, he wasn't keeping time. Sa'ar finished.
"Master, I am done." Sa'ar said.
"Good. Now pick your crystal from the cave." Koras said.

Sa'ar walked through the entrance to the cave and heard the chilling voices of dead sith lords and jedi masters warning him to turn back, he continued in and ignored them.
When he got to the end, there was a huge room of glowing crystals, he walked over to a group with a green and a purple crystal, he picked them both up, for they called to him through the force.
Sa'ar walked over to the workbench that the jedi masters had placed in there and began constructing it.
He began meditating, working through his crystal, a few hours passed and when he opened his eyes, there was the hilt with the crystal within, he ignited the blade and it shone with a green light, he turned it off and walked back out to the entrance, "I am done master."

"Good. You have done well. I think, that you will become a great Jedi someday." Koras said, smiling.
"Thank you, master." Sa'ar said.
Okay, good job on your first assignment! You seem to be good at RPing, so that's good, we like RPing around here. I'll give you another assignment sometime.

Okay, now that you've constructed your lightsaber, it is time to pick a form to train on.
Go to wookieepedia and research lightsaber forms, then pick your favorite, and give me a report on it, in your own words. If you need a link to wookieepedia, just say so.
Btw, this is an OOC assignment.

OOC:I think I'll choose Niman, that one's my favorite.
"Master, I would like to learn Niman, the way of the Rancor."

It's an OOC assignment, so you just have to write a report in your own words about it.

OOC:A report? you mean like this?
Form I want to learn: Niman
Strength: none
Weakness: none
Stance:
Info: The Way of the Rancor or The Moderation Form, Form VI was the standard style at and around the time period of the Clone Wars and the Great Jedi Purge. This combat discipline was often called the "Diplomat's Form." Unfortunately, all of the Form VI practitioners at the Battle of Geonosis were killed. As a result, full masters of other lightsaber forms sometimes considered Form VI to be insufficiently demanding.
Form VI attempted to balance all elements of lightsaber combat, combining the Forms that came before into a less intensely demanding combat style. The result was that the users' skill in each individual area of lightsaber combat was relatively moderate—they did not excel in any one area. Due to its "jack-of-all-trades" nature, the success of this form is largely dependent on the practitioner's intuition, improvisation, and creativity in combat rather than the rote responses derived from other forms. This broad generalization made Form VI well suited for diplomats, as they could spend their time training in the areas of politics and negotiation instead of combat training.
Form VI utilizes techniques from Form I, Form III, Form IV, and Form V. In one of Niman's stances, the blade is cocked high at the practitioner's side.
The form was named after Niman, the triumvirate of Kashi gods. It was developed by the Minions of Xendor after the Great Schism, having been adopted from the Niman / Jar'Kai form of combat.
Jedi Master Cin Drallig was an especially prolific instructor of Form VI, teaching Niman to thousands of students during his Jedi career.
