Rarrgh!I can't help but give this it's own thread. I can't WAIT to get shipped off and get my training started. I don't know why, but I suddenly have this HUGE surge in determination and pride for my country. I will PROUDLY defend this country, it's people, and every single one of your rights. As said, I'm going to be an EMT, so I'll gladly be saving other troop's lives, so someone at home can see the one they care about the next day! Bless this country, bless our military, and for God's sake, bless each and every one of you for thanking me for what I'm doing! It means more than you'll ever know.

Good luck man. If you want to go to Iraq, do it, but we still need people in most of the other countries (embassy guarding isn't always the safest thing). Take a good look around and go wherever you think that you will feel most comfortable. | ||

I still highly suggest Germany or Japan for your "preferred" overseas stationing. I have many friends that have had positive experiences with both.
The ones who went to Germany have more interesting stories. The ones who went to Japan have been more successful in their lives. In general. |

The soldiers, on the other hand, are honorable and great men and women. Good luck overseas, where ever it is you will be stationed.
