NewcomerHello everyone. Before we get into pleasantries, I just want to state that this is my first time roleplaying in Star Wars, though my experience in roleplaying itself, spans many years. So, with that out of the way, I want to say that I'm eager to get involved. Like most of my roleplaying, I like to research what I write about, though it will be a little difficult coping with the new "canon" that this site employs.So I have a few questions: 1. Is it alright to have our character's entire history, ranks, list of force abilities, saber skills, equipment, ships, padawans, etc. already written out in our profile? 2. All the basic canon applies right? Like the worlds, races, and whatnot? 3. Do our characters have to be Jedi or Sith? My character will still be a force sensitive and still receive some type of informal training, but wont actually become a Jedi or Sith until later. I have more questions but I can't think of them, so for the time being, these will do. |

1. Yes. Although I wouldn't recommend setting your rank to "Jedi Council Member" - since a lot of those slots are already filled at various places of canon.
2. Correct. And (for the most part) our timeline doesn't diverge away from the "real" expanded universe timeline until after the Thrawn Crisis. 3. No, your character can be absolutely anything you want. But, any roleplay creator has the right to not allow you to join their roleplay if you say you're a Sith Master Wampa with twenty-seven lightsabers that can survive a Death Star laser blast 
Of course, if you create a roleplay, you can do anything that you want - but if you go crazy people probably won't join

Although I'm very crazy, I take my writing seriously, and it shows. But a couple more questions still.
1. How you get the little lightsabers for your sig? 2. Is there anyone on the site willing to make me an avatar and sig? 3. How do your ranks increase? The ranks underneath your username. 4. Would it be okay to make Jedi and Sith masters for a fanfic/RP that might not be listed on the timeline? |

Rive, I'll deal with this youngin'. 
1) You could find one online, then post the url in your sig, or you could request one in a fanart thread (they're located in the fanart forum  ).
2) I would, but I'd have to get my computer working so I could upload GIMP pictures to the internet. I suppose I could try, but it might not work. Wait.... I've got an idea. Anyway, you could just request one in any art forum. 3) I suppose that depends on which order you join (Jedi or Sith) but, for the most part, just staying active will get you promoted. 4) Depends.... Grand Master of the Jedi order (sorry Yoda, but it's time to DIE!), probably not. Jedi Knight/Master (insert name here) sure!

Welcome!
As the current Lore Keeper of this site, so to speak, I'm always happy to answer questions about the canon of the site, and we even have our own wikipedia if that'd help! http://rebels.wikia.com/wiki/Home_Page Additionally, not everything will be on the wiki for whatever reason, and we have a timeline, as well as RPs such as the Without Sin Series, and Fanfictions such as Rive's follow-on Without Sin story, and my complete Destiny Eclipse and soon to be sequel Corner Stones, which are all integral parts of our canon. I'd personally suggest becoming a Jedi (not just because I'm one! ) and increasing ranks that way as the Sith leadership seems somewhat quiet at the moment, but don't let that stop you, you can still RP as any faction you want, as long as its clear who you're RPing as when you join up.
There's some RPs currently in their early phases, Dakoth's Mission to Arkua, and my Jewel III: Malice of the Jewel, which you're still welcome to join - actually, Malice of the Jewel is in desperate need of a Jedi leader to be honest - so you can test your skills in those if you'd like.

Don't take Mortalis calling you a Youngin' personal. He's just trying to take me line . Anyway don't listen to anyone, you can join any faction you want, infact you don't even have to join a faction. I really do hope you get involved with Malice though. Like Xander said it really needs a Jedi leader.

It's an inside joke. My friend and I play Call of Duty 4 sometimes, and whenever I kill an enemy online I always keep saying, "Bring it on little man!" However, I do that whenever I accomplish anything, really.... I got in trouble during my last math test....
