Unfortunately, as much as I like John Williams, that would mean that every time you visited the site you'd need to download a multi-megabyte MP3 file - which could lead to less people visiting the site because of significant slowdown.

We're too small to really worry about it, but there's also the issue of copyright violation. Lucasfilm doesn't mind people playing in their universe, but they do have problems with people distributing the actual material they created.

Thanks for the suggestion though!

I hate to necro post, but I didn't want to make a new topic about this.

I think this would be an awesome idea. Rebel's Radio! Each member gets to add two or three songs into it. If only there were a way to avoid the technical problems Rive mentioned earlier.

I wouldn't like music coming on as soon as the site came on or I logged in or whatever. If you really want radio or something though, you can just have two tabs open, that is what I do.

The problem is that...
a) Not everybody has a good computer to run it on. I just recently got a new one that's up to par.
b) I don't want Invictus uploading his Commie crap.

I like the idea of having one song from each member as a kind of individual contribution.

Speaking of though, Rive, what ever happened to the Sith, Mando, Imperial, Rebel and BH images you were going to integrate into the top right corner?
