Hermaeus Mora

Monopoly

A large Blockade has surrounded Nar Shadda of unknown origans. They have begun several Bombings of largelly populated sectors. thats all right now.

Hemaeus Mora floated in his large Platform on the bridge of the The Shrine "sir, Cluster bombs are running low on supply." said a man in a black coat with a fuisha under coat and a bald head. "Haskill. allow a pause in the fireing. We will soon be meeting visiters if my predictions are correct." Mora said in his low gurgleing voice

Onora Mhett, a freelance Bounty Hunter and a Mandalorian, exited Hyperspace, the world of Nar Shadda appearing in front of him, as well as a large blockade.

"What the frack... Em-Dee, try and get a reading on what's happening," he called, to his 3PO droid, MD-3PO.

"Yes sir," the droid said and got to work.

Mhett spun his ship into a series of intense loops and evasive maneouvers to escape incoming fire as some of the vessels surrounding the planet begun to pick up on his presence.

"Anyone out there? I seem to have run into a bit of trouble."
Rive Caedo

"This is ah... Priestess Ryllia to... hailing vessel."

What in the name of the Sacred Circle was she thinking?! Saashi Ryllia - part of a missionary expedition from the planet Monastery - had stayed hidden for the duration of the initial assault. She was drifting under minimal power in a figure-eight shaped orbit around both Nal Hutta and its moon under assault, Nar Shaddaa. Her communications were online, but all other electronics that might give away her position... or allow her to see the ship broadcasting out there... were cold.

Her cruiser, Nightshrike - named for and shaped in a style reminiscent to Monastery's great bats, was slightly larger than a standard mid-bulk freighter and was equipped with an ample supply of weapons... the galaxy was a dangerous place even for a priestess. However, she certainly wasn't equipped to do anything against a fleet of this size... even if the Order of the Sacred Circle did believe in use of violence except in cases of essential defense.

((There, how's that for not using a standard human male Jedi character, Xander? Smile ))

Tulak was in a standard B-wing starfighter as he was approaching Nar Shadda. He didn't like the idea of coming alone to deal with this himself. As he was approaching the fleet, Tulak got a couple of warning shots coming across him. Tulak did the only thing he could do to not give away his position. He did a 360 degree around the opponent. He came up right behind him and sent a proton torpedo at the fighter. It hit dead in the center. It came with a loud explosion and little pieces from the fighter hit Tulaks B-wing. As he got closer from what he could see, was a dog fight. Tulak thought to himself I'm going to try avoid that if I have to
Hermaeus Mora

Frack? lol

A screen flashed before the decks of All ships, execpt for Ryllias, as a bald man appeared on the screen. "Attension all ships. Hermaeus Mora has complete control over this Planet and has issued a blockade as you can planelly see. Coutuie this madness and we will insenerate you all into small burning minute particles of protein. Besides. you'll find all docking in this sector is only one charred remains of Buildings and Cantinas." Said Haskill.

It's a Star Wars swear word.
Hermaeus Mora

i thought it was in Battlestar....it's in star wars?
Rive Caedo

It originates from Battlestar, but Star Wars has "borrowed" it and used it in two or three books.

Ryllia was confused. This move didn't make sense. The audio was slightly distorted by static since it hadn't been transmitted directly to her vessel, but she had been able to intercept the broadcast.

Whoever was controlling this blockade, they had - seemingly - attacked Nar Shaddaa without provocation. Now they were demanding that the near defenseless Smuggler's Moon stop the violence?

The majority of crime lords on the planet had escaped moments after the assault had begun, surely. Such men always had plans to flee and executed them when things got dangerous for them - cowards. The only people left were the middlemen and small time crooks trying to scrape a living. What was the goal of this blockade?
Cimil

The blue blurr faded away and the blackness of space returned. He took off his seatbelt and stood, stretching he looked at the scene before him. They weren't kiddin He gave a little laugh. He snatched his comlink and spoke crisply.

"I'm here, mission underway." With that he grabbed his sword, swung his cloak over his shoulder and walked to the hangar.
Hermaeus Mora

"Haskill...commence fireing on all starships that are not our own." Said Mora. "B-but sir!" Haskill said slightlly paniced. "Haskill...you remeber what I did to your pretosesers? If they survive this then thats all I need from them." He replied. Haskill simplly nodded as Larg cannons launched Concussion Missles at all ships trying to get into Nar shadda
Lord Invictus

Mortalis seated himself in a command center on the front of the modified freighter. In all honesty, the freighter- once fitted with cannons and barracks- was set for war, but Mortalis detested the thought of using ships not designed for war for combat.

Hermaeus Mora wasn't easily compatible with Mortalis, but, in exchange for Mortalis' military command, and promised aid, Hermaeus would fund the Morti program of Mortalis', and everyone would get along in the end. Money had a way of fixing everything.

On this particular day, Mortalis had designated himself commander of a long thin vessel modified to accommodate twenty troops, and another forty operating personal.

For so long the siege had stayed a stalemate... so... standard for the average commander. Mortalis was bored.... simply bored. Sure, he never got tired of launching a cannon into the residential district of a city, but there was so much more to a battle than that, and it would seem he was on a leash. All he could do was float in space and wait, blasting downtown districts and inducing utter chaos in the streets.

The Sith's patience finally failed.

"Move into the upper atmosphere, Commodore," Mortalis commanded, eager for fresh blood.

"Sir, we cannot-" However proud the mercenary was being labeled a "commodore", he wasn't so proud of instantly losing the rank.

"What?" Mortalis hissed, his voice crackling and rough.

"That's suicide," The Commodore complained. "They're bombing the planet! We can't just move in!"

"I am you commander!" Mortalis roared.

"We were hired by one Mr. Mora, not you," the Commodore replied, stopping as, for no particular reason, something closed around his windpipe.

He looked down; nothing was there... he was floating even. In front of him, Mortalis' hand was stretched out, his fingers flexing as they closed around something. Then, he fell to the ground, out of breath.

"Mr. More has placed me in command of this vessel temporarily, and, up until this incident, I believed you were going to receive command after the battle, but perhaps I shouldn't recommend you for promotion?" Mortalis hissed before falling to his feet.

A proton missile had hit the ship near the command center- they were under attack! The crew didn't even need orders. They immediately switched their cannon fire from Nar Shadda apartments and offices, to one particularly angry B-wing. The thing flew about expertly, nearly every shot from the freighter missing it. Those that hit it were immediately absorbed into it's shields, and displaced amongst the ship.

Mortalis was, to a point, distressed about this new menace. It was powerful, fast, and perhaps force sensitive. At the very thought of a true fight, Mortalis' under-armor skin shivered with happiness, a tiny glimpse of hope the battle would finally turn interesting....
Hermaeus Mora

"Commander Mortalis...Look out for and Destroy all fighters that are trying and/or have entered the planet." said a hologram of his green, squid-like commander. "And do not threaten my men..." He added apperentlly seeing the entire thing
Lord Invictus

Mortalis scowled, marching to his personal hangar aboard the ship. His fighter, a highly modified Sith craft, sat there, polished and perfect in every way.... in a few moments it would probably be a torn wreck. That was why Mortalis loved war; the destruction, the excitement, the thrill of victory; he was ready for it all over again.

The Sith boarded his fighter, attaching a few unnecessary cannons to the imposing craft's system in a last minute suit-up.

"However much you hope I don't come back, commodore, don't fire the cannons when I get dogfighting," Mortalis sneered at the new commander of the vessel.

At that, his fighter floated into space in a mad attempt to defeat all enemies in one dogfight.....
Hermaeus Mora

"Haskill. Should need come I will signale you to fire upon mortalis's Ship. he may be a bit rebellious later one.." Mora ordered Haskill
Lord Invictus

((Grr...))

Mortalis sent machine gun fire in all directions, shooting madly at the enemy starfighter close by. He sped forward, sending proton torpedoes at the target. Expertly, the enemy pilot jetted away, the missiles scraping the tip of a capitol ship.

"Mortalis, calm yourself!" an officer reported in over the radio. "You're being too destructive! You could kill more allies than enemies here!"

Mortalis switched off the radio, switching it back on quickly; just in case of any intelligent orders.

The Sith fighter zoomed around, seeking out the enemy. Mortalis zipped at top speed around any obstacles, moving in to attack.
Hermaeus Mora

"Mortalis. Note me if you find any force sensitive beings." Said Mora via the intercom
Rive Caedo

Priestess Ryllia of the Sacred Circle finished uttering a short prayer as repentance for a minor curse she had let slip as Nar Shaddaa had drifted out of sight as her ship rotated lifelessly in space. It had happened just as laser fire from the blockade had resumed.

"... and the circle shall continue ever thereafter."

Something interesting was happening again and she was blind to it... unless she started up her reactor. But that would cause her to become embroiled in the conflict.
Hermaeus Mora

Mora sat on the deck. he muttered something. Something intersting will happen soon. He thought. "Haskill. I'm departing to my Flagship. You may do the same." Mora said. Haskill nodded as he placed a man in black as the commander of the ship. he walked his way to an excape pod and then Jettasened only to be picked up by a tractor beam to an invisable ship.

Tulak looked on his radar. There were multiple starfighters closing in on his position. Tulak decided to face them head first. As Tulak got closer' there were only six fighters. He fired one shot at one of the fighters. It hit the left wing of one which caused it to roll into the fighter next to it. Tulak pulled back on the controls so he wouldn't hit the opponents dead on. Tulak only had two seismic charges and decided to use one now. He released one and Tulak pulled straight up to avoid it. The charge exploded and leveled anything in it's path. The charge took more fighters then Tulak expected. Tulak turned to face the lead ship conducting the operation and went full throttle at it. He noticed several escape pods leaving the ship. Why are they leaving?. Tulak shrugged his shoulders and continued towards the lead ship.
Lord Invictus

Mortalis zoomed forward silently in his modified Sith fighter, quickly moving near Tulak undetected. Despite 1000 to 1 odds, when Mortalis fired a blaster cannon at his opponent, he jetted downward, revealing Mortali's presence.

The Sith zoomed after Tulak blasting a missile at him. As Tulak turned, the missile collided with a small freighter- part of the blockade. Mortalis aimed at the enemy again, releasing a jet of blaster plasma quickly before floating in, eager to see what damage had been done....

((Io, it's fine with me if your ship is undamaged.... just saying...))
Io Lee

Tulaks starfighter was hit. He sensed what was behind him. A dark aura was coming from behind him. There was a beeping coming from his consul, he was loosing all his power in the right side of his ship. Knowing that if he stayed in the open he was going to be dead. Tulak looked for the nearest hangar which happened to be the lead ship. He pulled into the hanger. He now lost all power. As the B-wing skidded across then hanger floor, Tulak opened the door and jumped out of the B-wing before it hit another fighter.  As Tulak landed he activated his saber. Seeing that no one was attacking him he deactivated his saber and went to ponder on who that was that shot him. He had the darkest aura. Tulak then went to the hanger.
Lord Invictus

The enemy had escaped... for now. Mortalis noted the B-wing had entered a hanger in a nearby ship, and proceeded to land.

Mortalis' Sith fighter landed, silently colliding with the metal flooring of the ship's hanger. The cockpit opened slowly, cold and evil. Darth Mortalis stepped out of the cockpit, evaluating his surroundings; a B-wing lay on the floor next to another fighter, a few emergency lights had went on- most likely due to the fact an unknown B-wing had landed-, and now a few guards were trotting around upstairs trying to figure out how to use the cameras to find the intruder.
Cimil

"You wait here, I can handle this myself." Climbing into his stealth ship he activated the stealth feild. A needle class ship. Meant for plunging through hulls or ice. The ship was painted black, which wasn't really need seeing as how it was equiped with the lastest stealth feild generator along with many other features.

The ship lifted slowly of the hangar floor and drifted towards the mess that was now Nar Shadda. Then, the ship blasted off at an incredible speed, headed for the lead ship.
Hermaeus Mora

"Haskill...We've lured them into our trap." Mora said. "Attension Piolits. Newlly arrived or not the ship will explode in several minutes. That is all." He said via a large comlink. then the excape pods finally docked in a larger ship. it was cossile. it could carry thousands of Cluster Bombs. It was called the Sangune Rose. Mora's flag ship
Cimil

"The Ship will reach destination in Five, four, three, two, one." The bland voice said over the ships speakers. His ship crashed into the lead ship at an incredible speed. Punching through the the hull and one of the ships levels.

He kicked out the cockpit viewport and jumped out of the ship. Making his way to the nearest door, the ship was lodged into the hull pretty good but it would come loos soon.

He found a doorway, sliped in and closed it. He turned around to see several troops starring at him in shock. He smiled, and reached for his sword.

(about a minute and a half minute later)

"Do you have a commlink?" The man shook his head, only to have an expression of pain cross his face as his arm was dislodged from its socket.

"Ok, ok. Its in my left back pocket." Marcus searched the pocket, and sure enough there was a commlink. Marcus grabbed the mans head and twisted it violently. Thanks for cooperating

He set the commlink to all channels and spoke.

"To the leader fo this force, the exchange has sent me to speak with you. I would suggest that you reply."
Lord Invictus

((A minute in a half before Mora's Flagship's detonation.))

"Where are the Jedi?" Mortalis hissed, grabbing one security guard.

"We haven't seen any Jedi!" he roared.

The Sith threw him to the side of the small room, shattering a window. Within seconds, the other guard was in his grasp.

"He was humanoid and landed in a B-wing," Mortalis hissed, his grip on the second guard's throat tightening. "Where is he?"

"I saw a man entering that hall, which leads to a second hangar," the man choked, falling to the ground the instant Mortalis released his grip.

_______________________________
((Ten seconds before Mora's flagship's detonation))

Mortalis didn't bother opening the door. He bashed through it, his metal shoulder blade not even suffering a scratch. The door slid of its hinges and imploded, flying down the hall.

Mortalis walked forward, his feet scratching on the floor calmly. Finally he was in the second hangar.

"Come, come, Jedi," Mortalis hissed loudly.

At that moment, a huge explosive noise erupted. Mortalis' claws instinctively buried into the floor, making clean cuts in the metal. The Sith's face focused out the hangar's plasma entrance and exit. The flagship was destroyed. It was such a large explosion, it had to be either planned by Mora himself, or some type of internal sabotage. Or both.

Mortalis fell to the ground sideways, the ship now turning from the explosion's shockwave. Fighters fell out the hangar, simply crashing into deep space.

In the middle of the shockwave, Mortalis stood up, pulling a leg up immediately before crashing it down again almost at the same spot. He did it again with his right foot, and his left foot again, then his right foot, slowly moving across the room. The Sith's eyes searched the room for the Jedi until the shockwave ended, sending Mortalis, once again, to the floor.

Mortalis regained his balance quickly, standing up and scanning the room. ..
Hermaeus Mora

"Motalis. I assume you made it out all right. find the B-wing piolit if he surived. and bring him to me." Mora said via comlink. the sanguine rose drifted slowlly untill he heard the words that came out of Marcus's mouth. "Fool. I am the exchange." he said chuckleing
