Lost In Darkness

(This is a one-shot about Leon, and when he'd followed the dark side. A look at what it truly means to be a Sith. WARNING: Mentions of rape, molestation, and killing children)

The halls were frighteningly quiet, save for droplets of water hitting the ground, and the occasional taunt from Tamke Sorla's so-far unknown enemy. He lightsaber provided some illumination within the darkness, but not enough to give him an advantage. No matter how hard he tried he was unable to pinpoint the darksider's position and strike, and it was starting to scare him.

"No, I can't allow fear to rule me. I'm a Jedi Knight." Tamke assured himself. If a Jedi wasn't in control over their emotions, then control over anything else would be null and void.

"Fear....." a voice whispered into his ear. Tamke turned around to confront it, but nothing was there.

"What was that?" He was answered with the sound of a lightsaber activating, as well as having to defend against a flurry of fluid, precise strikes. Tamke was versed in Ataru, so he was having enough difficulty blocking the red blade in the small space. Then he recognized the signiture assault style of Form II: Makashi, now he was sure he had no chance of killing his opponent in these halls.

The red lightsaber's weilder decided to take advantage of the Jedi's distraction, feeling he could extract what he wanted, that and he was bored. When they locked sabers, the darksider slowly angled them until he was ready, then swiftly tapped the Jedi on his arms with his red blade.

Tamke flew back in pain, and collided with the wall, falling to the floor while clutching his injured limbs. The next pain was far worse though, as the red lightsaber stabbed his right shouldar. The pain was so disorientating, most of the sounds around him garbled and hard to figure what they were. One sound however, was clear as the Naboo sky, "Tell me what you cherish most."

Tamke managed to focus on his taunter, and somehow was able to glare at the darksider. "Take a long walk out the air-lock, Danex."

Leon's smile seemed to grow larger at that, and just for fun, he pulled his saber slightly to the left. Tamke's cries of pain satisfied him to a degree, but not completely, "Give me the pleasure of taking it away."

Tamke scoffed at him, and once more, was rewarded with movement from the lightsaber. "L-Lyn will find you. When he does, you'll be nothing but a memory." To furthur defy the former Jedi, Tamke spit in his face.

Leon shook his head and muttered something to himself in a language Tamke was unfamiliar with, before he began laughing like someone on spice. "I will, NEVER BE A MEMORY!" Removing his blade from Tamke's shouldar, it soon met with his neck, ending the Jedi and adding another lightsaber to Leon's collection. Now that that was over, Leon prepared to leave and return to his ship, that is....until he sensed something he had missed. A smirk crawled onto his face as he ran down the corridor and into the darkness.

Somewhere in the compound

Run. That's what his parents told him to do before chasing after something at the end of the hall, firing their blasters at something. So far, he'd gone all over the compound trying to find a way out. Everytime he found an exit, the door seemed to be welded shut. After about the sixth one, he gave up. It was official, he wasn't getting out of here.

He heard something behind him, turning quickly he looked for anything, but was only met with darkness. Calming down after a minute of watching the darkness, he turned his gaze to it's former position. He was eye to eye with someone he'd never seen.

"Boo." the stranger said. Before he had a chance to yell, the stranger shoved him to the ground and sat next to him. "So, what's your name?"

The boy was scared, but he somehow found his voice, "Mar Dist." he responded, gulping as the man's odd colored eyes fell upon him.

"I see, I see. I'm Leon Danex. What happened here?" he asked, looking around as if searching for an enemy.

Mar didn't understand how the guy couldn't know, "Someone locked everyone in, then killed them. There's a Jedi here though, maybe he took care of the guy."

Leon nodded his head, then turned back to Mar, "How old are you kid?"

Why does that matter?, Mar thought, but answered, "Eight, why?" His heart skipped a beat as a happy gleam crawled across Leon's face.

Soon, Leon began to chuckle to himself, but was able to stiffle most of it, "You know what? I was your age when he did that. Oh yeah.....clueless of the galaxy, just a kid. He did it anyway, and I still haven't found him. Yeah.....you're just like me." He reached over at Mar, his face contorted to insanity.

Mar's eyes widened to the size of a planet, smacking Leon's creeping hand away, "D-Don't touch me, you fracking freak!" Without warning, Mar was sent flying into the wall, thrown by some invisible force.

Leon moved towards the kid, holding him eye level with The Force. His eyes wandered all over the kid's body, mumbling things audible only to himself. Finally, he focused on the kid's face, "Well well, I must say you're special. I sense The Force is strong in you, very strong. No indications of disease, you are in top health, and you have fear." He moved closer to the boy, his lips almost touching his small ears, "You would be a powerful apprentice, capable of learning a lot." Leon's tongue snaked out, licking the cheek of the scared child, "I would love to teach you."

Mar dropped to the ground, let go by the Sith after another minute, and saw something that made his heart sink. The red blade from his lightsaber, an inch from his head, "On your knees. I want you to beg for forgiveness." A smirk once more plagued Leon's face.

He shook his head ferosciously, remembering what his father once told him. "I don't beg for anything." He was lifted into the air again, and Leon's eyes held murder within them.

His lightsaber stabbed Mar in his heart, his voice angry, and if you listened, hurt. "I don't like being called a freak. Now I don't even feel like playing with you." Leon used The Force to visciously slam Mar's near-dead body into the wall over and over. After that, he slammed him face-first into the opposite wall, a sickening crack could be heard as his neck broke. With a scream of anger, Leon used all his power to send the dead boy through the wall and into a room on the other side.

Not done yet, he pulled the body back into the hall. "You know, this could've been avoided if you'd done what I said. You know that right?" He asked the corpse, making it shake it's bloodied head with The Force. He cheered with a sadistic smile, before once again sending the body through a wall.

Walking with a satisfied hunger, Leon was about to jump into the cockpit of his Jedi Starfighter, when his head began to hurt like a lightsaber wound. Falling to the ground screaming and clutching his head, Leon reached out and crushed a random bouldar with The Force. Another six bouldars met the same fate before the pain stopped, his eyes now wide and once more insane. "Yes, I can kill a lot of people if I go back to Nar Shaddaa can't I?" Laughter could be heard all the way to Anchorhead as the Jedi Starfighter took to the stars.

(A few things. One: This wasn't meant to be some super-special super-detailed story. Just a look at Leon as a Sith, and how the darkside is more than just anger or hate. Two: If this is a bit too graphic for some, I apologize. I felt the need to write a dark story, as I've been on fanfiction.net for some time, and they have some PRETTY DARK stories on there. Three: I do NOT condone rape, molestation, or killing children. They are just elements of the plot here, nothing more.)
