I don't have enormously high hopes for a CTF type game that focuses mostly on melee combat... but I will certainly be keeping an eye on it.
Graphically, it's also looking a tad bit dated - the Battlefront engine is 4 years old now. But that's not a huge issue if the gameplay is solid.

I breathe LOTR, but honestly I'm not so sure about this game. 
I just don't see how it will exactly play out. But I will get it regardless, because anything LOTR is worth something to me. And I gotta catch you on a video game being the definition of LOTR awesomeness. Nothing LOTR can come close to comparing to the books of LOTR. The movies are simply AMAZING, and I love them, yet I find the books hundreds times better. No game comes close to grasping it. And listening to Tolkien read parts of his books...that's pretty sweet. (I have recordings of him reading chapters.) Alright, enough of my rambling.

Those graphics would only be decent on the Wii, which is what I'm hoping the screenshot is from. As a LOTR fan, I'm excited about this. I just hope it isn't to much like BF, the AI in that game is awful. |

Yes, lol! Battlefront II and I had the worst AI ever, but the game was fun. I could go through an entire thirty minute conquest game as a basic soldier (rebel trooper, stormtrooper, clone trooper, super battledroid) and not get shot once! You can shoot enemies for ten seconds and they just stand there and die. The only time the AI was ever okay was when you fought enemies in turrets, where they actually did shoot at you. |

Enemie AI on BF2 when on Elite was beyond difficult, almost impossible on console, because they can just get these impossible shots on ya, and well you cant be heroic... they just shoot you down... NOw BF1, thats a whole different story, you could be a one man army on that game. |

On the BF2 and BF1 consoles and PC that I've played, the game virtually plays itself, even on elite. | ||||

Afraid not. That's from the PC version. It's using the same engine that Battlefront I and Battlefront II used. So the AI will likely be highly similar to how the AI Jedi characters in Battlefront II played. |
