Last of the Jedi *Spoilers*Well I've searched and searched and can't seem to find a thread for it anywhere.
Just finished book nine, and it's all but certain there will be a showdown in the final book between Ferus and Vader. Now I just have to wait and see if my theory about Vader's Secret Apprentice's identity is correct...
The scaffolding is in place - at the end of the book, Palpatine suggested Ferus become Vader's immediate subordinate, suggesting that the pair might work more closely together in the next book.

I read the first five...then forgot that others came out...

They're quite good. The one I've just finished (Number 9 of 10) has Leia as a character as a young child, along with Bail, and Obi-Wan's still in it to some extent.
