Jedi and Sith....working together?

Here's a thought. We know that all throughout the ages the Jedi and Sith have fought over the galaxy. Killing each other time and time again with no winner in sight. But.....have you ever wondered if there would ever come a threat to the galaxy that attacked the Jedi, Sith, Republic, Empire, Unknown Regions, etc? I mean, whatever this threat is it's out for blood, and it's not the Vong btw. Do you think that the Jedi and Sith could put aside their differences just once and join forces to kick this threat's a**?

Well, I don't think the Sith would ever become a true ally of the Jedi, but I do believe it's possible for them to temperararly (spelling?) work together in order to survive.

Lumiya participated somewhat in the Yuuzhan Vong war, she's really the closest they got to a sith and jedi alliance even though there wasn't an actual alliance. I could see the sith using an alliance to further their goals but I doubt any invaders would ever attack with both Sith and Jedi having a powerful force.

I think the Sith would ally and then turn on the Jedi and wipe them out while keeping a select few hidden to preserve the Sith.

I suspect that the only time there is enough Jedi and Sith in the Galaxy to be a powerful Force, they'd be at each other's throats, or one would ally with the new threat to wipe out the other - a la Mandalorian War, even though that was kind of the other way around.

The Sith would not officially ally with the Jedi, but they would do what it takes to survive. I doubt they would fight on the same battlefield as the Jedi but have their own agenda against the threat.
