Is the Emperoer......I was watching ROTS and ROTJ today and I thought of something. In Sith he tries to run away from Yoda, but if he's so powerfull and sure of himself then why, just like Yoda said, does he try to run away, and he didn't even finish the saber fight, he went to his force powers and cheated. And in Jedi he is worried that only together can he and Vader turn Luke to the Dark Side, so once again it seems he can't do something on his own. So I ask.....is the Emperoer a punk-wannabe-poser?

Personally I wouldn't want to mess with the greatest Jedi ever either! Yoda is a beast to say the least and all fear him

What I just quoted aove is true. But I don't really think he's a wanna be. Yes, I hate him, but perhaps he's more afraid of what Yoda or the others can do to him. He always seemed to m though that he knew that Vader was a dangerous one to have around...even though he was his appreantice. Mabye saw that Anakin was powerful enough to distroy him, and would...so thought of a reason to turnhim, one he couldn't refuse.: Saveing Padme from certian death. But he really couldn't, so in the end Vader hadd nothing left except to serve Palpatine for the rest of his life.

He was very afraid of Vader killing him, until Vader was imprisoned in the suit, then he saw Vader as a joke, and began scouting for a new Apprentice.

well back on topic i dont think sidious is a chicken, i think he just likes to play it safe and not take any unnescessary risks like putting an endless shaft in his throne room or a single exhaust pipe that could blow up his prized possesion.

These discussions are so one-sided. Let me put it to you this way:
You've just conquered the galaxy. You could spend your time fighting with a muppet or you could prevent an uprising on the streets of your capital. What'll it be?
You have deemed yourself the ruler of every star from Coruscant to the Outer Rim to the Unknown Regions. You're the most powerful person to ever live, why would you risk that wasting your time on a badly colored teddy bear?
There is no doubt that Sidious could have defeated Yoda. Likewise, Yoda could have taken Sidious down. Yoda fled because he knew he had touched the Dark Side to block Sidious' Lightning, and it scared him. So, you can sling stones at Sidious for attempting to run, but what do you say to Yoda who actually did run? It's not some double-standard people, if Yoda got to run because he knew it would save him for another day, then so does Sidious.

All hail Supreme Prophet Shadow because he knows what is going on! Everything he just said is absolutely 100% true. Why would he waste his time with a Kirby on steroids? He shouldn't, and tried not to. The little Kirby doll however believed he could stop the man who: was Dark Lord of the Sith, destroyed the Jedi Order, took out Kirby's best friend and 2nd most powerful person in the Jedi Order, gained control of the galaxy, and converted The Chosen One to his side! Somebody tell the fuzzball to keep dreaming and go live in a swamp. Which he did after fleeing the battle.

If I considered for a nanosecond that you were capable of defeating me, probably. But since that is unlikely and the character you are as powerful as is less powerful than the character I'm as/more powerful than fled from mine, I wouldn't think so.

For the sake of arguement:
Shadow = Sidious (more/as powerful than)
Leon Danex = Yoda (as powerful than)
Given that I am as or more powerful than the most powerful Force user in the battle, it would seem unlikely he would be capapble of defeating me with his hands untied.
