Okay:
Notice how the edges seem to be smoother? You can still tell the difference due to color but the edges almost seem to fade away...

Feathering is really great if you're off in cutting but don't take it for granted. If you raise it too high, then it'll take the whole box and it won't look good in the signature. I suggest abouy 20-40 is fine. Well, that's just me, there are alot of other people with GIMP out there.

If you want to take out the glowing stuff around the hilt, then zoom in and take it all out with a paint brush.
Can I ask on how you got that much glow on the blade? Just asking because I always get a little one.
Plus you still need to make it shorter.
