I've got H1N1Anyone else have it?
I first got it on Tuesday, but I ended up going to school because I didn't want to miss my two tests (I didn't know it was H1N1 at this point). It was miserable. The next day was a ton of heaving, but that only lasted one day. I've had a fever but it is starting to go down. I'm very tired and fatigued, I've had loss of feeling and different taste buds....things taste different. It's not that bad, the first day is the worst.

Couldn't help myself. Anyway I'm pretty sure my Mom has it so I'm bound to get it sometime this season. Media overhypezzz

I'm with you, the hype over it was utterly laughable. It's really just regular flu. My biggest gripe is just the fact that almost everything tastes like garbage.....

I've had the flu twice and both times sucked. For the most part when I'm sick I don't eat anything anyway and tend to drop mass amounts of weight.
Usually if you die from the flu it's because you had something else wrong with you that the flu made worse. Or just very unlucky and your fever gets even higher.

I had that problem the first day, I ate almost nothing. I wasn't hungry, so I really didn't even notice that I kept avoiding foods. But I've been eating lately just for the sake of it....
My fever's hit 102...nothing higher. The medicine I've had keeps it down, but the fever really went down over the period of last night.

Our winter's just finished, so I'm not longer at risk, although I will be in London.

Eh I'm pretty sure I had it last year, nothing much to it.

The media reporting may have been bad, but let's keep things in perspective - the reason people freak out over H1N1 is because in 1918 it mutated about 5 months after it initially appeared into a version that caused cytokine storms. It infected about a third of the people in the world and killed about 1 in 7 people that were infected. It was a major pandemic.

That's upsetting. My cousin had H1N1 and she told me it wasn't that bad, but still sucked.

Quite a lot of people have died in Australia from it, so it's not THAT laughable.

See if I was callous I would say "perhaps Australia is just laughable"
