Holiday Logos?Why don't we just change the logo every now and then that represents the holiday that we're in. Like in Christmas, we would put a picture that represents Christmas around the world (don't want to leave the aussies out =P). Or maybe when we're going into Halloween, we put a Jack-O-Lantern next toe the logo.
I know this sounds kiddish, but it gives a little more sweetness to the forum...

Heh heh, I actually like this idea. Although Christmas and other specifically-religious holidays wouldn't be eligible.
Aaaaand holidays that fall on different days in different parts of the world wouldn't be eligible (such as Father's day. Which falls on the Third Sunday of June in the United States and United Kingdom, but falls on the First Sunday of September in Australia.)

Needless to say, there's not much that we could do besides obscure things that Google does across all their websites (like the 250th birthday of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle a few years back.) And us changing the logo for things like that... Really does seem to fall into Google's territory.
HOWEVER! Since this is a Star Wars forum. I think it could be rather amusing to alter the logo a bit for the significant Star Wars anniversaries. For instance we could have had a little X-Wing flying in front of the logo for the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars this year put up on May 25th.
And, of course, every May 14th we could "flannelize" the logo - for George Lucas's birthday 
Because the entirety (as far as I'm aware... do we have any Eastern Asia or Middle-Eastern users?) of our User Base has January 1st as their New Year - I suppose we could put some fireworks over the logo on that day without making people feel excluded

And perhaps - this might be pushing it - but once we sort out all the top-right-hand-corner images, we could then make groups for each movie, and on the anniversary of that particular movie coming out, use that certain group. (Do any of the movie's anniversaries fall on the same day?)
