You don't need to post descriptions of your character(s), but it's usually a good idea. That would go in the Profiles section. There are two roleplays open right now that I think are currently both still accepting new players - Days of War and Desireroth. I have a roleplay going as well, but it's not open to new players since it's too far along. Rebels is also highly active for out-of-character discussion. Just scroll down a bit and you'll find sections appropriate for discussing movies, games, debating opinions, and anything at all really!
Lastly, you'll notice most members have ranks below their user names. This is not related (unless you choose) to your characters' rank. It's really more of a "political" rank that says how much influence that person has in dictating forum policy. There are two separate ranking systems to climb. The Sith, headed by Embeion and a group of other "Lords". And the Jedi - headed by myself and other Council members. Simply decide which you wish to participate in and I'll place you into the system. If you're not interested in climbing the ranks of forum leadership, feel free to request an "unranked" title such as Grey Jedi, Smuggler, or Bounty Hunter. I think that about covers the basics. How exactly do you apply for a faction... specifically sith? | ||

You don't need to apply at all. Just say you want to join the Sith ranking system and I'll set you to the first rank (Dark Adept).
That's all I'm allowed to do though. After that it's up to the other Sith members to promote you based on your behavior (and they could demote you if you cause trouble). |
