Welcome, if you want to participate in discussions just go ahead and post in one, just don't flame, spam, or anything very offensive and you shouldn't have any problems.
If you want to participate in a SW Role Play, choose if you want to be a Jedi or Sith, go into the Role Playing section, go into the Profiles section, and make a new character (Your new character doesn't have to have the same name as your profile). From there, just get involved in a new RP. You should ask in "Role Play Discussions" before you get involved in one as people may not appreciate it if you appear out of no where, but you never know, there may still be a place where you could come in.
I encourage you to stay around. It can be a lot of fun once you get the hang of things.

I'm the Sith leader and current Administrator for the site. If you want to join the Sith then you don't really have to do anything but say that =p . Remember you DON'T have to join the Sith or Jedi, you can freelance if you want.. but you will have a few less threads to post in.
The Sith are currently undergoing a change in system so if you still wish to join us you won't get promoted to anything until we get the new system up and running. It's about half-way done now
The Jedi are pretty inactive right now.. There leader Rive has taken a mysterious absence and now there's only about 5 or 6 Jedi around.. maybe 7 =p
But yes if you want to Roleplay you don't have to wait to join any faction. All you need if the RP creators okay or you can make your own. I would advise though that you don't name your character Ben Owen. For canon purpose
If you have any questions feel free to post here or send me or Korus(Jedi Councilmen) a Private Message.
P.S.- You can have secondary roleplaying characters of both Jedi & Sith factions as long as the secondary character doesn't effect forum canon. I.E. Your main character is a Sith but you have a Jedi you want to use.. and that character Bio says he was from a royal family in the outer-rim and rose to power in the Senate to become the new Supreme Chancellor (not very Jedi like =p. But it's an example). Now if you do have a character like this you'll have to get the okay from the Grand Council (Mods and Admins)

Hey Ben! Thanks for posting in my RPs discussion, that's a good way to start. You're welcome to join the RP in my army if you want - perhaps as a droid commander as that's the only faction of my army I haven't a commander for yet - as long as you read the rules for the RP and don't over play your character's power.
Other than that, post a heap, have fun, and rise the ranks.
