Who is the greatest villain of all time. The Youtube videos are all wrong . Who's the best villain in your opinion.
SAURON THE GREAT!!!!!!!!!
Reason: Sauron is the super-powered god, and LOTR is his bible. He has the best armor, best weapons, best army, and is, overall, a bastion of pure villain pwnage from his giant eye-tower of DOOM!!!
Ga'nen
killed by a human?! NAH!
Darth Vader, cause he'll force choke you from a distance.
Lord Invictus
Sauron has 'da mace thing.
And he wasn't killed by a human.... he was killed by a hobbit

Lord Lanik
Hmmm............
That evil whitch lady from Snow White.......
Lord Vexen
Morgoth/Melkor
He manipulated Sauron to evil...and did what Sauron could not, conquer Middle-Earth...until he got beaten back. However...he never died, he was only sent away...to my knowledge. DoM...confirm please.
Lord Embeion
Ya Morgie is the big dawg behind it all. Suaron was a tool on the living plane.
My vote goes for the Lich King. He is the most powerful being known the Warcraft universe. Yes even more powerful then the Titan gods. Proof is cause they can't control him. If they could control him then ya sure but.. Kil'Jaeden is the #2 man and WoW has proven that the Lich King is more powerful. BCL<WotLK
But who cares cause Neil Patrick Harris beats them all.
Lord Invictus
Yes, Morgoth beats Sauron, but Sauron was the main LOTR baddy, not the main Tolkien baddy. And Morgoth, sadly, never got put into cinema so you could never really see him. I don't know much about Morgoth apart from him being Sauron's mentor, though....

Morgoth.
He completely manipulated Sauron to evil, and Sauron is hardly even a fraction of how corrupted and evil Morgoth is. Even as an Ainu, he was prideful and full of malice, and changed his Ainulindalė (Quenya the Great Music of the Ainu) He did so many things, like yes, conquer Middle-earth, but he was beaten back. He created the Orcs, which were mutated and defiled Elves. You think Sauron's armor was good? Take this into heart:
Morgoth was "as tall as a high tower", and wore an iron crown and a long black cloak over his dark black armor (possibly mithril, defiled and wretched, since it wasn't white.) and carried a long sword, a spear or halberd, and the dark hammer Grond, which the battering ram of Sauron was named after.
Take all this and much more to heart, and read the Silmarillion, and then tell me if Sauron really does look like a big bad boy after all.
By the way, in the Fellowship of the Ring film, when Saruman tells Lurtz about how the Orcs first came to be, and how they were Elves once, and were tortured and mutated and became Orcs, and he said by the Dark Lord. Well, he doesn't mean Sauron. He means Morgoth. They never clarified that in the movies, because they don't have time to explain Morgoth, and it doesn't further the plot for the movies. Also, the Balrog? Morgoth created it, and so many more of them. Wargs? Morgoth. He pretty much created everything except the Uruk-Hai.
Sauron is awesome, and I love his character, but not even Sauron can compare to Morgoth.

Voldemort?! Only few have grown up to be BAs from the start. But he was also killed by a baby and a teenager later on. :-/ Dang destiny!
Rive Caedo
If you're going for "strongest" villain. I suppose I'd go with Q from Star Trek The Next Generation (and briefly in Deep Space Nine and Voyager). Well... I'm not sure if I'd even call him a villain, but he's certainly an antagonist. There have been other villains in series that have literal unlimited God-like powers, I'm sure, but Q is the only one that comes to mind for me. He's also rather unstable - so that helps.
If you're going for "best" villain. I suppose I'll need to go for Vader (post prequels) too. Sauron was cool... but he's more of a driving force and vague antagonist in everything beyond that first scene.

Can I change my answer? Morgoth sounds like Sauron to the 100th power. SWEETNESS BEYOND COMPARISON!
Lord Invictus
Oh Oh! Anybody from LOTR.
Sauron
Morgoth
Saruman
Witch King
Balrog
Nagul (any)
MOUTH OF SAURON!
Easily the most frightening LOTR villain of all time.
Dork of Mordork

Nazgūl*
Spoiler:
Read the books. He's 10 times better and there is a lot more of him. There is a whole debate between him and Gandalf (and others) He's one of my favorite book characters. He doesn't die either. v.v The Black Gates Open is actually my favorite chapter.

I read book one and half of book two a while ago, but then I stopped. I'll get to reading them again once I've finished my stupid summer reading, the Bourne trilogy, some books called Twilight my cousin wants me to read, and a few others.
And, I know the Nazgul is spelled that way, I just don't know how to type the foreign U thingie. But I did leave out the z The Mouth of Sauron is probably the coolest of the LOTR villains, but not the best.
I love the Bourne books, so I'll actually add Carlos to the list of villains.
Sephiroth
The greatest villian ever is Xemnas from Kingdom Hearts II.
"If light and darkness are eternal, then surely we nothings must be the same....Eternal!"
"Anger and hate are supreme."
And of course he completely destroys you with his dual Aerial Blades. coughLightsaberscough.
Adenn
The greatest villain to me is probably Leatherface. I know, there's a weird psycho that could manipulate the stars and blow up the planet blah blah blah, but the things Leatherface could do can probably happen in real life. Easy to take a chainsaw and start chasing people in a truck. Skinning people alive, torturing them, cannibalsim (sp?), yeah, the whole nine yards. Leather face is the greatest in my opinion.
Lord Vexen
Meh...the man Leatherface was based off of scares me more than he does.
Lord Embeion
Jeepers Creepers, where'd get those eyes
Tom
Roy Batty... or Veidt villains who turn out to be much more then they appear to be, who seemingly achieve a sense and succeed in there causes.. one seeks life, another destroys it in trying to unify everything.. Im not sure if these are true villains but through out there respective films and books they are made out to be villains until the end...

I'm telling you all Tickle me Elmo will come back to haunt us all!

Embeion, Rebels doesn't allow even the admins to post such obscene things as that.
And Adenn, there is one who has done everything you stated leatherface has and more:
DR. HANNIBAL LECTOR
Muhaha!
Lord Embeion
Hey the Doctor is my homeboy, we chill on every other Wednesday.

On reference to "The Doctor" - I'll also throw in The Master from Doctor Who. He's evil, has limited control over time, and - most importantly - has 13 lives.
Admin note: Since we were just discussing this in another thread. That was a good example of an unnecessary quote, Mortalis. Embeion's post was right before yours and you quoted the whole thing.
Quotes should be used for...
Quoting a small portion of someone's large post - if you're only responding to a specific point.
Quoting the entire post of something that was a few posts back, if you're responding out of sequence and think it won't be clear what you're responding to.
