Regardless, GoW 1 is one of the few 360 games I enjoy, though CliffyB hasn't stopped proclaiming himself the God of gaming for a while.
Hopefully it inherits the '2' as well as the title mentioned above, I won't be able to play it because they already announced it never coming to PC. (Epic sucks, way to ruin UT3)

One Day until the midnight release. I'm filled with childish glee.
From what I've seen and of course expected, it seems to have gotten very favorable reviews thus far. I can only hope that they managed to weed out the glaring host advantage that plauged gears 1.
Crozeus
And the too short single player. There is a party mode (thank God)
Sirak Sazen
The only thing I really didn't like about GOW1 was the overly-muscular members of Delta Squad. Steroids are bad (Dakoth).
Dakoth
You'd juice too if the locusts were invading.
Sirak Sazen
Touche.
Anakin
Lemme be the first to say this: This game sucks. Microsoft sucks. thank you. You may now rant like fanbois.

Glaring host problems and God-awful dialogue.
"Can't stop the TRAIN BABY!"
Crozeus
It's out.
Sirak Sazen
Is it any good? Details?
Crozeus
Glory has a CD form. They've fixed EVERYTHING and added NEW AMAZING THINGS. BUY IT!!!!! NOW!!!!

I'll consider. I'm saving up for Call of Duty 5.

Same here!

Only problem is, it's rated M (17 and up) and I'm only 14 and I'll have to convince my mom to let me get it.
Crozeus
I'm holding on till Christmas for COD WaW. I get too addicted by the multiplayer, like 4.

Justify it by saying you're fighting Japanese and Nazi zombies. Nobody likes those, right?
Sirak Sazen
I could do that seeing as how her dad was a POW during WWII.
Scion
Gears of War is now the official 2nd MANLIEST GAME OFF ALL TIME!!!!!
Sirak Sazen
Behind?
Oh, Splinter. She said no.
Crozeus
Yep, Marcus Fenix is a man so manly his cajones clang when he walks.

That's how I get my mom to buy me World War II games.
"So you don't want me killing nazis? What the hell, mom? Are you a Nazi Sympathizer ?"
Sirak Sazen
She said no anyway. Oh well. I tried.
Crozeus
I played it today. 'Twas awesome
Sam... fair enough
Anakin
Okay, I'm not the first to say this but....wow, what happened to the graphics? It seemed much more gritty, dirty, and realistic in the first one. What happened to the second? Looks like they cleaned their armor and stuff, everything is all light.
Sirak Sazen
Epic had complaints about how the game looked "colorless" and lazy.

Yeah, I'm not delusional then.
Journey
Regardless of the graphics, this is pretty much one of the best games ever. Incredibly intense, great story, great characters, great gameplay.
This takes everything from the first one and simply improves on it.

That would be the definition of the sequal, though I will argue the part of good story.
Crozeus
Really? What would you have done with it, if you kept the ending from the first one?

Maybe take it a little more seriously, this game was great to laugh at because the voice acting (though good) was completely over the top.
Crozeus
Yeah, John DiMaggio was great. You can just imagine them going "Ah, let's go shoot stuff! And smoke! And drive really fast! And other dangerous things. Cause I'm so manly! Awww yeah!"
Scion
My current favorite line from GeOW2 I can't say on this forum.

I think I know what it is.

Spoiler:
Dom: I think I see a shitload of Locust down in that valley.
Marcus: More like 10 Shitloads!
I laughed for a long time after that.

Errr? I thought Carmine said the first sentence?
Sirak Sazen
So, how's multiplayer?

Who said it doesn't matter, it's terrible and hilarious dialogue is the thing.

Agreed
I liked the dialogue cause alot of it was funny.
"A GODDAMM GIANT WORM" !~!

Well, I was wrong about the favourite dialougue.
I think it is meant to be overly macho, which is why they are all so massive.

I said earlier, they all look like Tonka truck men.... and my gym teacher. Anywho, I'm not getting this game right now for two reasons. First, and most apparent, my Xbox 360 got the RROD yesterday morning. Second, I'm broke.

RROD sucks. But you get 1 months free LIVE and a game. Unrreal T3 did nothing for me really.

I don't believe I am expected to care about characters that yell profanities and and crap like: "You can't stop the COLETRAIN!". The story is nonexistant and shouldn't be there anyways.
I would also like to add Horde mode is very frustrating.
Crozeus
No, of course you aren't expected to care. It's not like they're trying to get you really involved with the story. But there is a story there, it just always ends with lots of violence, which is always fun
Horde mode can be fustrating, it's definately best when you are in a group of four or more. Me and my friend spent two hours on it and we only got to 12.

We got stuck at 18 with 2 people on hardcore, too many enemies have magical death flails.
Crozeus
Or you just get boomshotted or torque bowed.
Scion
Yeah, but most of the time it's getting surrounded by 4 of the guys with shields and an invincibility cheat.
