This game is gonna be nuts! The online play is where its at once you've had your fun with the campaign mode.  Razz

Yeah, I'm really hoping the new Horde Mode delivers.  It just sounds so awesome on paper.

Regardless, GoW 1 is one of the few 360 games I enjoy, though CliffyB hasn't stopped proclaiming himself the God of gaming for a while.

Hopefully it inherits the '2' as well as the title mentioned above, I won't be able to play it because they already announced it never coming to PC.  (Epic sucks, way to ruin UT3)

One Day until the midnight release.  I'm filled with childish glee.

From what I've seen and of course expected, it seems to have gotten very favorable reviews thus far.  I can only hope that they managed to weed out the glaring host advantage that plauged gears 1.

The only thing I really didn't like about GOW1 was the overly-muscular members of Delta Squad. Steroids are bad (Dakoth).

Okay, I'm not the first to say this but....wow, what happened to the graphics? It seemed much more gritty, dirty, and realistic in the first one. What happened to the second? Looks like they cleaned their armor and stuff, everything is all light.

Journey

Regardless of the graphics, this is pretty much one of the best games ever. Incredibly intense, great story, great characters, great gameplay.

This takes everything from the first one and simply improves on it.

That would be the definition of the sequal, though I will argue the part of good story.

Maybe take it a little more seriously, this game was great to laugh at because the voice acting (though good) was completely over the top.

I think it is meant to be overly macho, which is why they are all so massive.

I said earlier, they all look like Tonka truck men.... and my gym teacher. Anywho, I'm not getting this game right now for two reasons. First, and most apparent, my Xbox 360 got the RROD yesterday morning. Second, I'm broke.

RROD sucks. But you get 1 months free LIVE and a game. Unrreal T3 did nothing for me really.

I don't believe I am expected to care about characters that yell profanities and and crap like: "You can't stop the COLETRAIN!".  The story is nonexistant and shouldn't be there anyways.

I would also like to add Horde mode is very frustrating.

No, of course you aren't expected to care. It's not like they're trying to get you really involved with the story. But there is a story there, it just always ends with lots of violence, which is always fun Smile

Horde mode can be fustrating, it's definately best when you are in a group of four or more. Me and my friend spent two hours on it and we only got to 12.

We got stuck at 18 with 2 people on hardcore, too many enemies have magical death flails.
