* Be Respectful
Anyone and everyone is allowed on the boards regardless of what kind of character you roleplay as, respect other members no matter who you are and who they are.

* No spamming
The reasons behind this go without saying

* No profanity
There's a certain limit of course... Use your judgement and try not to use it at all if you can.

* No "Hijacking"
This is mostly in regards to roleplays. If a topic creator says the roleplay takes place on Hoth then leave it on Hoth unless you get permission to move it. Don't go saying "Then everyone got on Bob's ship and flew to Bespin"
It is however possible to hijack a non-roleplaying thread, basically: If you're talking back and forth with someone about something that doesn't have anything to do with the original topic. You should probably move it to Private Messages.

* No major "necro-posting"
If a topic hasn't been replied to in over 2 weeks it's *probably* out of date. Use your judgement, but pay attention to dates and make sure you aren't replying to something that happened months in the past.

* No placing "Rank Icons" as your avatar or in your Signature.

* Avatar and Signature Regulations:
Avatars must be no larger than 130 wide and 130 pixels tall
Signatures must no taller than 215 pixels

Disobeying these rules could result in you being given a mark against you.

Flaming - One mark.

Spamming - One mark.

Repeatedly Refusing to Comply with Avatar and Signature Regulations - One mark.

Continued Necro-posting in Obvious Threads - One mark.

Excessive Profanity or Attempting to Work Around the Profanity Filter - One mark.

Harassing a Member Continously - Two marks.

Dual Accounts- Two marks and deletion of chosen account.

Posting Offensive Material That Contains Nudity or Other Highly Offensive Material - immediate suspension and a considered ban.

Three marks = 3 day suspension.

3 suspensions in 6 months = Permanent ban

However, after a year, if no further bad behaviour has occured from an individual, their slate will be wiped clean of all marks.

Here's something to add to the hijacking thing:

Say Bob has a thread for making sigs for people, and Bill asks for a sig, and then Berry comes and says he'll make the sig for Bill RIGHT ON BOB'S THREAD... that is hijacking!!

Also, another form of hijacking:

Mike has a fanart thread. He posts a picture he made of his favorite character. Mick posts saying he thinks the picture is cool, but then he posts some of his own work on Mike's thread and asks how everyone likes his art. And then everyone else gets off-topic of Mike's art, and talks about Micks art, when Mick should have posted his art on his OWN thread.
