I have to say yes. I sing in the shower when I'm alone in the house. My kids would otherwise band on the door and scream about how bad my singing way. lol.

No no no! I'm not an actual "mother" but I raised my brother and sister since they were squabbling babies so I'm their mother. They call me "mom" and everything. I put them to bed, I feed them dinner, I help them with homework, I do their laundry, I take care of them all around. Their basically my kids.

Its nothing unusual. The situation happens a lot, the mother and father are worthless I've got no reason to complain. I love my kids, I love taking care of them. Its really satisfying when my little brother cuts his knee and cries for me instead of his real mother. Its good to know they understand that I love them so much. It makes me happy.

I actually don't think that I've ever sung in the shower. I know people who do though.

And if she takes care of them and calls them her kids isn't really anything wrong. It's almost like adoption, I doubt you'd have a problem with people calling their adopted children their kids. You'd be surprised how often I've seen situations like that (a lot of times it is just the parents working all day, but sometimes it is the parents getting drunk), with even 10 year olds taking care of their younger siblings. The younger ones called their older brother/sister mom or dad, but I wouldn't have a problem if they did.

I sing a lot of songs, usually off tune. The only ones I can sing right are the military cadences lol. But I also sing Disney songs (yes, I'm just a softie), I hum soundtracks (Transformers, Starwars, The Last Samurai, Magnificent Seven, Narnia, etc.), I sing songs by TTT, Celine Dion (which of course I mess up horribly), Cascada, Avril (yes...don't get me started), Daniel Powter, Van Halen, GNR, Bon Jovi, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, John Denver, but of course...KENNY LOGGINS!

I get by wonderfully. It gets tough, Leon strains my nerves more than anything else and keeping A and B's is difficult. But when they need some one they need some one. Thats why I'm on Rebels. Its the ONLY time I get to myself, and I am comfortable here. But I'm happy.

Once I turn 18 I'm taking the kids from my mother legally. Its going to be a long battle but they will choose to live with me, I've already discussed it with my Dad.

My mother doesn't care. At all. She just snorts and calls it a phaze. I ignore her and so do they. I try very hard to stay positive. I'm 16, and a lot of the times it feels like I'm not getting any support from any one but I know it'll be worth it in the end. Plus, they need some one. I don't want them to grow up like I did.

Their really my babies.

It really doesn't help that Leon is frustrating all the time. I need his support not another child. ><

I sing about 90% of the time when I take showers. Since I listen to music while I'm in the shower, it's just instinctual for me to sing along. The most common CD's I listen to (and songs I sing) are Coheed and Cambria (Welcome Home), Sick Puppies (Pitiful), Nightwish (Dark Chest of Wonders), Between the Buried and Me (Prequel to the Sequel/Change cover) and 10 Years (Waking Up). I have a maybe...moderate to slightly above average singing voice. Four years in elementary choir. XD

I sing Journey songs in the shower, typically 'Still they ride' and 'Faithfully' or 'Ain't to proud to beg' by the Temptations. Can't hit the high notes though, seen as my voice is as deep as Isaac Hayes' (RIP).
