Crazy Situation

Well I'm about the dumbest person you will ever meet. So today I decided that I wanted my X-lover to meet my current boyfriend. No big deal right? My X and I are still pretty good friends (although I'm a nerf herder all the time to him and can't help it for some damn reason) and my boyfriend hates what he knows of him but they have never met. Here's why I'm dumb.

I'm going to have them meet but only because my X agreed to go under another name. How effd up is that? I'm sooo nervous because if my boyfriend finds out who he is I swear to God he will kill me and him both.

Yeah, seriously, Raina, we love you and want you to stay active, but I really don't think many people care. I occasionally post these sorts of things for advice, maybe once every six months, but not all the time.

Why would this get locked? Its called the GENRAL DISCUSSION thread. The Universe thread and the general disscussion thread are supposed to be different. Everything else is talked about in the Universe thread. If I wanna post about my life, why not? The thread is open for that. If your not intrested in my personal life, ignore my person life posts. Its not that hard. I'm obviously not trying to be rude, I would just like to point out that the UIniverse thread and this one are almost exactly the same, only I can post my life stuff in this thread and not the universes.

Every one needs a place to vent, considering I trust this place, I would rather do it here and get feed back from mostly Siark and others who are intrested.

I think the problem is that most people (to be very, very, very blunt) don't want to hear your whining, as they see it. I honestly don't mind trying to help you with your problems. That's what sons are for.  Mr. Green

Pretty much. I mean it's okay to come looking for help but to constantly do it gets annoying. This site can't be a crutch for personal problems. Can only help you forget them momentarily before you have to turn the computer off.

I'm actually on Raina's side here. Except...

I think I made this suggestion before, Raina. I think you'll get a much better reaction out of people if you make all of these types of posts in a single thread called "Raina's Blog" or something. That way people will know exactly what they're getting when they click on it.

As was mentioned in another thread, he's not a global mod - just a mod for the Sith sections.

No big deal? Of course that's a big deal, at least in relationship terms. You never do something like that. Never.

I'm tending to agree. Unless there's some huuuuuuuuge reason to need to do so, it's best to break all ties to previous romantic partners and never look back. It only leads to trouble.

Alright, I guess only Sith deal in absolutes. I suppose it's possible it wouldn't lead to trouble. But still, the possible loss and pain and jealousy and anger vastly outweighs any possible gain of keeping contact.
