I mean, and this is coming from someone who is 10th prestige on CoD4, all it does is irritate you, and in the end you have nothing to show for it. It requires no more skill than being able to be in the right place at the right time, and to aim at them. All that is needed to dominate a game is to learn the spawns, get into the best position, and camp it with the best weapons. And you get nothing out of it, the only way people can see what you did on it is by adding you as a friend. |

Unlike you, I don't need to flaunt about showing how well I did in order to enjoy myself. Achievements and Gamer points mean nothing to me. I just want to challenge myself and have fun.
Oh, and I love it when if someone says something is easy and takes no skill, it automatically applies to everyone.

Praised be God. WaW was an absolute travesty. It had poor maps and used an overdone premise (enough WW2!!!)
I own WaW, but I still play Modern Warfare to this day. |

I rented WaW, loved the campaign...got most of the veteren achievments...then returned it. Modern Warfare is much better. | ||||||

Yeah, although I said I'd never want to play WaW simply because of the WWII factor, I did anyways. For two reasons: I'm a trophy whore, and after the Modern Warfare campaign that I truly enjoyed (which can't be said for some other FPSes *cough*Halo*cough*), I didn't want to rob myself of another awesome story. Like Vexen, I also rented it, got about 60-some-odd-percent of the trophies then returned it. The only thing that would get me to buy would be Nazi Zombies and maybe the Co-Op trophies I missed.
I agree that Modern Warfare was better, it seemed realer to me than WaW, but that might be because I didn't live during WWII. Anyways, I still play MW's online when I get the chance and still love it. Yeah, frustrastion occurs sometimes, but so what? It happens in every online FPS. I still love pulling off no-scopes and three-in-a-row headshots with my Red Tiger Dragunov. I mean...come on...ghillie suits? Pure Pwnage. |

How can you not have enjoyed the Halo campaign?
It's true, frustrating things do happen in most FPSs. But with other ones you can simply get better and it doesn't happen (much) anymore. With CoD it happens all the time, no matter what. |

Eh, the first one I liked, then the second one killed it for me. It pulled a MGS2 and took away Master Chief in the story. Sure the Arbiter was cool, but his missions weren't. I base a game's campaign enjoyability on how many times I can play through it and still be entertained. The first one never got past 1 and 1/2 plays and the second was stuck at 1 and 1/5 for me. It just didn't keep the pizzazz for me. CoD: MW's campaign has made it to 3 playthroughs.
I think the reason why is because MW's online is always adapting. People are finding new ways to do everything and you get pwned and you're forced to adapt. Then when you get used to the new ways, people start bringing the old ways back. At least, that's how I see the online. |

For a second I was scared I was going to be Rickroll'd, but thankfully this is real. I was surprised because I thought MW2 wouldn't be coming until at least '10, so this was a nice surprise.
Though it doesn't show off much graphically, the audio spoke volumes. I can guess that in at least one part of the game, Russians, (the bad Russians from MW1), that are still sore and seeking vengeance for the death of their leader, come to the U.S. and start shooting up a shopping mall/airport/some type of populated building. The "Remember, no Russian" part gave that away for me. Plus all the chatter and the elevator buttons. Either way, I really hope this doesn't disappoint. |

The deathstreaks aren't that big of a deal. The first one lets you take the killcams class which blows. The second if Jugg which only lasts about 10 seconds off spawn. Then theres Martyrdom which is.. Martyrdom. Then the highest lvl is last stand which is not that faggety and would rather have then Martyrdom. You can't just leave them though if they last long enough they'll stand back up. One of my favorite things for multiplayer though is that the kill streaks stack and the care packages are awesome goodies oh and the predator missiles aren't over the top because you have to be outside and the explosion isn't massive. I haven't seen any gunships or nukes yet. The story is amazing! So much badassery throughout the entire campaign. Playing on Veteran will take some time to master |

I've been watching some gameplay. As far as killstreaks go, you can basically wipe out an entire team in 10 seconds with chopper gunner. Nuke is nothing fancy. Screen turns white, everyone dies, game ends. | ||||||

CoD4 and MW2 have great MP. But I do have to agree that CoD2 is still the most bad*** You can't say rent because it's not CoD2 though. You have to look whats on the market for MP shooters. Halo, Gears, CoD. and if your a Ps3 owner you have Resistance, Killzone, CoD. Not everyone is gonna like the MP though because it isn't Halo or Gears where you can nom on shots as easily. Others won't like it because of the perks and guns. Some won't like it just cause there bad at it, nice KD Lord British. randy smg. =p Also I think CoD4s trophy of most time people have spent playing online has something to say about the MP or maybe the highest sold shooter ever award. |

The extent of it being a good MP is that it is shiny and has lots of technical words to excite dumb teenagers who think they are military buffs cause they know what an M4A3 SOPCOM is. In reality it is a skill-less spam 'n' spray fest. Even more so than CoD4 was. It aims for you. In my experience of online shooters one of the only games that requires true talent to succeed in is RBSV2. |

You know I agree that it's skill-less but I'm not saying it isn't fun. Also from my experience in MP so far I would say there's less spray n' pray. You'll find it's skill-less until you try to play a real GBs team and consistently lose. The skill factor in CoD is patience One of the most OP things ever though is the AA12. It's faster then the LMGs in WaW such lulz |

Dakoth - I never played the first one. But I hear that a lot. I find it hard to enjoy myself when I spawn and get hit by a missile or a gunship :/ It's like IW tried to please EVERYONE who wanted something from the last one... like they listened to what every 11 year old kid posted on their forums. Lol I had a GBs team back in the days of CoD4, before Halo... we weren't super srs though, and to our surprise we won more than we lost :L Sirak, same thing happened to me

Only 2 or so costed money I had a 47/6 game today that helped me out of 1-4-1 rut. Also had one game were I got roughly 20 headshots with the Intervention ACOG |
