Cael Ordin's Training ThreasOk for your first mission post why your character joined the Jedi.

Cael was adrift in thought aboard the Arden Scout, the ship of his mentor, Galut Krin. Joining the jedi would far more power to do good, but it would also mean leaving behind the world he knew. His grandfather had been a jedi and had warned him of the great restrictions and responsibilities one carries as a jedi, he was ot sure if that was the life that was meant for him. He was strong in the force, it seemed it should be his responsibility to master it for good, at least thats what the jedi who had come to find him had said.
"Follow them Cael, you know it is the path you must take."
His mentor had entered his bunk, Cael was so deep in thought he hadn't even noticed.
"Is this another one of your hunches?"
"No, I'm sure about this. I've seen you do amazing things, and terrible things as well. You need to learn to control this or it will control you."
Cael sat quietly by his mentor and thought about what it would be like to be one of them, to be a jedi. It didn't fit with his personality. He din't think he'd ever be able to adhere to the strict moral code of the jedi. He would love and hate and envy and fear, but it's what you did with those feelings, he thought, that mattered.
"I'll join them but I won't let them remake me in thier image, I'll do what I think is right not what is ordained by pious masters." Cael said stubbornly.
"Go with them and try to remain true to yourself, but don't let your stubborness make you blind and deaf to thier wisdom Cael. They have witnessed far more than you can imagine and you shouldn't judge them before you have expiernced thier lifestyle." Galut instructed.
Cael was shocked by his mentors words, he had never been a supporter of the jedi, thier ideals had never matched up. This turnaround had a great impact on Cael and that moment he decided that he was to become a jedi and to respect his masters opinions even if he did not choose to follow them whole heartedly.
"I'll guess I'll be leaving then."
"I guess so."
That was Caels last exchange of words with his master as he left his home and started out on his own path of self discovery, armed only with his grandfathers saber and hopes for a fufilling life in and outside of the order.
