Build-a-gameCheesy title, but here are the rules. You can design a logo (optional) for a fictional video game you make up. But you have to talk about the game like an interview (explain story, features, add-ons, ect.) and you need to talk about what platforms your game comes out with. Most importantly, rate the game before you.
Game numbuh 1#:
Type: MMPORG
Players: multi
Name: World of Warcraft, Imperial Invasion
Talk:
Q. What expansions have you made onto Wow, Burning Crusade, and Wrath of the Lich king?
A. The game incorporates not only new species, places, and classes, but a whole new faction!
Q. What is this new faction?
A. This new faction is called the "Grand Empire" and consists of six races. These races are Great Elf, human, goblin-human, Shamakara, and the blood elf special hero class.
Q. How is transport and combat innovated in the game?
A. Because the Grand Empire is a nation built on crowded islands, combat has become urban, naval, and, most importantly, truly "warcraft". First of all, the Grand Empire is crowded and its population is poor (many of them ,at least.). So rebels tend to start fights in the game. While in many cities of the Grand Empire, you will be faced with urban combat, which is confusing at first. You have a special ability (pressing tab) to "hug" a wall and take cover. From there, archers and magic-users can perform ranged attacks. Melee soldiers can hide to attack, or pick up local supplies which they can throw.
Naval combat is also innovated. Cannons are powerful, and crews can be bought. Now a fast transport can bring you across land and sea!
Finally, the point of the game! Invasion combat! At this point in world of warcraft time, the Grand Empire is densely populated. They have declared war on the alliance and horde factions, and are now invading everything. Their troops are strong and numerous, and are common on all parts of Azeroth. If you choose the new path of "soldier" in the game, you will become ranked and be able to do constant quests for your nation (Grand Empire, Alliance, or Horde), as well as command troops into battle, manage your army, command lower ranks players, and fight enemy players.
Q. What's the story behind the game, and where does it take place?
A. The game's story has a prologue behind it. A powerful spell separated the land of Algurance- and with it, the Grand Empire- from the rest of the world of Azeroth for a millenia. Now that the spell has unraveled, the Grand Empire is back and densely populated. It's massive armies were prepared for the day when they could seek their revenge, for they had been sent out of time by a group of Alliance and Horde warlocks. On all corners of Azeroth, the Imperial Invasion presses inward, with only you and the forces at your command to stop it, or lead it. You decide who will win the war!

Ehh, 7/10. Never played WoW that much, but the idea of the RTS theme got my attention, since I love those. However, there are only 3 factions. What fun is that? :S
________________________________
I was bored so...
Yeah, the storyline to mine is really cheesy, but I couldn't think of anything. :p
Type: Action/Adventure
Players: 1
Name: A Fire Inside
Platforms: Wii, PS2, PS3, and Xbox 360
Talk:
Q: Is this game RPG Based?
A: Yes, it is. How the players use their allocated points on magic strength, dexterity, etc. will be entirely up to them. Be it you are nimble and quick, or heavy and strong, the choice is yours.
Q:What kind of weapons are there?
A:The game is based solely on magic based attacks. There will be five different kinds of magic in the game:
-Elemental
-Healing
-Transformation
-Special
-Boosters
Elementals will feature the use of Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire. These spells are neutral, and can be used offensively or defensively.
Healing is what its name is. The character will be able to heal and revive party members. Self healing is included.
Transformation is the ability to change your character into different forms.
Specials are high magic attacks that deplete Mana rapidly, such as lightning bolts or magic powered waves.
Boosters temporarily buffs skills, such as increasing damage.
Q: Will the game be in free roam environment?
A: Yes, the player will be able to freely move where (s)he pleases to move.
Q: Will battles have turns, or will they be fought freely?
A: The battles will be fought freely, so damage the enemy as much as you can!
Q: Will there be a party system?
A: Yes, players will be able to bring up to three other members with him/her.
Q: What is the background of the game?
A: The game will start out with a boy who has lost his family to Hell, discovering he has demonic powers as he is half demon. Now, he will embark on a quest of demon slaying, befriending allies and creating enemies. How the course of the game goes depends on the player's actions.
Q: Will the half demon ever play a role in the game?
A: Yes, it will. During combat, if your character is low on health, then the demon side will take over for a limited time. Mana is unlimited, and the strength of your magic is dramatically increased. Be wary, however, as your defense stats will drop, leaving your vulnerable.

Not my kind of game, but it looks cool though. 8.5/10.
or even better
Type: Action/First-person-shooter/RTS/RPG
Players: 1 (online=up to 200)
Name: Horizon
Platforms: Featured= PS3. Other= Xbox 360
Talk:
SINGLE PLAYER:
Q. How is this game an RPG?
A. Your choices on the battlefield effects who survives in your campaign, and at points in the game, perhaps you feel like joining the other side.....
Q: What's the storyline behind Horizon?
A. The game takes place in an alternate world, where technology is highly advanced by 2010 (think Halo, or Resistance Fall of Man). During a Middle Eastern conflict, American troops drop in to defend Iraq from invading Syrian forces. You play as Major John Brionelly, an American officer in command of a 200 man strong platoon. Most of the game, however, is spent commanding groups of about 20 men around the map, using the other modes of the game to command your platoon, and kicking some butt first person.
Q:What kind of weapons are there?
A:You start out the game with the standard invasion rifle, which is nicknamed the "Clip Friendly" (M99G7 Assault Rifle). It never runs out of ammo as long as you keep reloading it. A sidearm of some sort it always available (except in select levels.) Enemies drop various weapons too, which are usually highly effective guns. Play your cards right, and you'll never have ammo troubles.
Q: What is the rage option?
A: When your character undergoes tremendous physical stress (is reduced to his last 15% of health), emotional stress (decided by certain level cinematics, or when you lose a large percentage of your squad) or when you kill ten enemies in a row without rest, then you can use rage. During rage in the singleplayer campaign, enemies glow bright yellow, you take little damage, bullets are more accurate, and if you shoot near an enemies head, it'll hit his head. In multiplayer, enemies glow, and all of your abilities are now times ten (jumping, fire rate, health recharge, ect.).
Q: Does your health recharge?
A: Yes, your health recharges at a relatively fast rate, and med packs and medics are available. Medics can also revive you if you have died in some modes of the game.
Q: What are the "command tiers"?
A: The command tiers of the game are your controls. Like many FPS games, you command a small squad around by simply pressing buttons, and you pick your squad soldiers before each level. However, you can go into many "modes". First, there's your normal "captain" mode, which allows you to command soldiers first-person. Next, for machinima reasons, there is cinematic mode, where you control your character first person, but view him third person. Finally, there is "general" mode, in which you command your army in an RTS way. When you die, there is also recovery mode, where you become an armed medic or nearby trooper who brings you to safety and revives you.
MULTIPLAYER:
Q:What are the game modes?
A: Most of the classic game modes are involved, like freeforall, team deathmatch, capture the flag, ect. However, because of the variety of levels in the campaign, there are new game types. In each game, there are up to 200 players!
Game types:
-Predator: A standard team deathmatch game occurs, but a squad on each team manages a gunship. These gunships have a pilot each, and five gunners each. Three gunners attack the enemy gunship (usually), and the other two pick off enemies on the battle field. Artillary guns take down gunships, but can also be sabotaged or used against enemy ground troops. A player can choose to spawn in his gunship and drop out as a paratrooper.
- Horizon (aka Treason orConversion): A standard team deathmatch in which the goals are simple (eliminate the enemy). However, when you die, the enemies have several options. They can kill you when your dead (really, you're incapacitated on the ground), in which case you respawn, ignore you, in which case you "pull yourself up", or they can convert you. Conversion is a delicate operation, filled with minigames. First, an enemy injects a drug into your suit before picking you up and bringing you to safety. Then, they force you onto their team (a process that takes about a minute). When you are "dead", allies may rescue you as well, and an ally using the special "medic" class can revive you. Fun unlockable abilities like "play dead" make this type of game even better.
-Dogfight= a smaller game in which there are up to 30 players. In this game, fighter jets roar around the sky to destroy the enemy until a number of points has been achieved by a team. You can customize your jet with paint, jet "skins", weaponry, engines, engine noises, and other various marks and abilities.
-War= the largest type of game, war tests your ultimate ability. With as many as 500 players, you will be greatly challenged. Vehicles, artillary, trenchlines, bunkers, buildings, cover, and turrets litter the battlefield. Players with the best dogfighting ability gain access to jet fighters they launch from bunkers. The top players get gunship rights (there are two gunships per team in this game). Some players even get tanks and halftracks. War is the ultimate test.
-Armor= Tanks and halftracks fight it out for ground supremacy.
-Clan and base= Before playing any other games, you create a soldier and choose a team. You design your soldiers like sims, and edit them to your liking. Join a clan and participate in their wars, and make your name in an RPG-style realm of Horizon the game!

A: Yes there will be invincibility for you and your units, all armor and weapons. But enabling cheats will not allow you to get achievements and you cannot save your game.
Q:Will this game be a franchise?
A: Yes there will be different games in different time periods.

Looks pretty decent, I'd enjoy that kind of game. 8/10
I made this game idea ages ago, and doesn't exactly fit the format of this thread, but I'll post it anyway. It's, obviously, a Star Wars game.
Star Wars: Order 66
Single Player
1. I] Palpatine realises the time is drawing close when the Jedi order is exterminated, mission starts with a small tutorial and then Saesee Tiin, Agen Kolar, Kit Fisto and Mace walk in, level progresses with you killing Agen and Saesee, at that point you learn the ability to use force lightning. Level continues that, when you defeat Kit, Anakin enters the room. When Mace is thrown over the side of the building, Anakin becomes Darth Vader.
1. II] Vader talks with Palpatine, Palpatine gives him command of a legion of clones. You play as Vader. You fight your way through the streets of Coruscant fighting various Jedi found along the way. Level ends with a cut-scene of Vader marching into Jedi temple, and killing a Jedi guard.
2. You fight in the temple against various Jedi, gain power ups along the way, and become stronger in the Dark Side. You fight Cin Drallig, and the two padawans he is training, Whie Malreaux and Bene. Whie and Bene cannot be killed, only Cin can, the other two are just pests who inflict tiny amounts of damage, end second boss of the game. Level ends with a small cut-scene of Vader killing Bene and Whie.
3. After defeating Cin, Bene and Whie, you travel to Mustafar to deal with the Separatists, and kill the Separatist leaders, your eyes are glimpsed as being red. Level ends with Padme's ship landing, and a cut-scene of Obi-Wan and Vader exchanging harsh words.
4. You and Obi-Wan fight, if you lose, you die, to win you have to last as long as you can. By now you can use force lightning, and you can use it against Obi-Wan, who is portrayed as the bad-guy, level progresses with a change in environment, each environment change serves as a save point. Level ends with Vader shouting, “I hate you!” End boss 3.
5. Palpatine realises Vader is in danger, but confronts Yoda. You play as Palpatine. Level progresses with you fighting Yoda and various other Jedi attempting to assassinate the new Emperor. You make it into your shuttle, and fly to Vader's aid. End of level is just a short clip from the movie of Vader getting put in The Suit, Padme giving birth to the twins, Leia going to Bail, Luke going to Owen, and Vader watching the Death Star being constructed with Tarkin and Palps.
6. Palpatine informs Vader that their are still rebel Jedi elements in the galaxy, and they are being drawn together by a Jedi known as Pronto Garlno, enter first assassination mission. In assassination missions, you actually search the galaxy for the person, their location continually changing. You play as Vader. Mission ends with you confronting Pronto, but him being rescued by non-other then Coleman Kcaj, the leader of the Jedi Rebellion.
7. Vader returns to Palpatine with the news Coleman Kcaj still lives, and that the Jedi are building a rebellion. Palpatine seems more concerned with the apparent rebellion in the senate and orders Vader to kill Coleman. Vader travels to Kessel, where the Jedi are rumoured to be hiding. End level with Vader confronting Coleman after killing several other Jedi.
8. Level begins with Vader fighting Coleman, and when you defeat him, you kill him, but are ambushed by a group of Jedi, led by Tremayne. You defeat all but Tremayne, who you sense great anger in. You decide to bring Tremayne, who worked in the Agricultural Corps, to Palpatine, and plan to use Tremayne against the other Jedi.
9. I] Vader decides to test Tremayne’s loyalty by taking him to Dantooine where there are reports of a Jedi group. You arrive on Dantooine and play as Tremayne, with no lightsaber, just a sniper rifle and blaster. You play as Tremayne. You learn to use Tremayne, and the clones/storm troopers under you command. Level ends with you finding a discarded lightsaber in the grass.
9. II] You report your findings to Vader, and send your troopers into the ruins of the Jedi temple. Non of them return. Vader nearly kills you in his anger, as you wasted the troopers, and did not lead them, level ends with you versing Vader, if you win, he accepts that you are valuable, if you lose, you are killed. You may use all your weapons including your newly found lightsaber.
9. III] With you playing as Vader again, and Tremayne as your partner, you delve into the depths of the temple ruins. Inside you find several Jedi who you fight and kill, including a long forgotten Jedi… Even Piell, who was MIA at Geonosis. It seems he was captured by Separatists, but kept alive because he was a council member, and could be ransomed. Even managed to escape, with the knowledge of Order 66, but before he could return to the Jedi, he was captured again by an unknown alien on Dantooine. Other Jedi saught Dantooine as a sanctuary, and together they defeated this alien, who could not be felt in the Force, and whose body was a mess of scars and tatoos…
9. IV] Level begins with other Jedi coming to Even’s aid, and a large battle commencing. You play again as Tremayne, and Vader, who has been driven into a rage, seems to be wiping out everyone, you included. Level ends with Even’s death.
9. V] It seems the Jedi did not thoroughly deal with the alien threat. You play as Vader. Tremayne, who is a coward, flees. You fight this enemy, level progresses with more and more clues being given, until the alien spits at you, “Jeedai scum,” and brandishes a living staff, which deflects sabers. Level ends with you defeating the Vong.
10. Really just a movie level. Vader returns with Tremayne to the Emperor and informs him of this possible new threat, and as devious as he is, Palpatine hatches a plan. He informs Vader that he will try to train Dark Jedi, or Hands, to deal with this threat if it escalates, and that there may be a need for more sith. Palpatine also says he will send Mith’rawn’urudo to the Unknown Region telling him to chart he UR under the pretence of being in exile, but little does Mith’rawn’urudo know, he is really there to scout out for any more of these “Jeedai” haters. Vader protests that that would go against the Code of the Sith, with there only being two Sith at a time, but suggests that Tremayne be a prototype, but not as a hand, but as an Inquisitor, a new idea proposed by Palpatine to sense hiding Jedi. Palpatine informs Vader to search for potential-hands.
11. I] 5 yrs later, Vader is much more powerful, you have successfully found a few hands, and are searching for the last remains of the Jedi, the Death Star is progressing, but there is news that there are plans to destroy it. Second assassination mission. You hunt down the rumoured Jedi, and discover a second Jedi rebellion, led by Quinlan Vos, who also survived the Purge. You fight several Jedi, and make it to Quinlan Vos, who reveals their plans to destroy the Death Star, and he manages to escape.
11. II] Second last mission. You fly back in you ship, destroying the bases defences, and making your way back to the Death Star. There you find the Jedi, and attempt to kill them before they can board the Death Star. Unfortunately, they go on a suicidal run, destroying the Death Star, and leaving you to report back to your Master.
12. Final mission, Vader returns to Palpatine to inform him that the Maw installation will have to work on a new Death Star plan. Palpatine, infuriated, sends Vader on a mission to hunt down Yoda, expecting Vader to fail and die, or succeed and kill their most powerful enemy. Last assassination mission. You hunt down a lead, which doesn't lead to Yoda, but leads to... Mace Windu! It seems he survived the attack, and has crafted another lightsaber over the 5 yrs absence of his presence. As he explains this to you, a cut-scene flash back is shown, of Mace holding onto the edge of Palps’ office building several floors down. This is it, the game has built up your power, and if you have what it takes you will be able to kill the second most powerful Jedi or your time.
Multiplayer:
1.Duel, you can play as, Mace, Agen, Kit, Saesee, Palpatine, General G, Asajj, Anakin, or a clone, you can play in various places, Mustafar, Palp's office, the Death Star, the streets of Coruscant, or the Jedi temple.
2.Strategy, you choose a side, Jedi or Sith, chose a ship, V-Wing, Jedi Starfighter, Sith ship, I dunno what it would look like, early TIEs, etc. You play in space, having a planet each, you start with fights in space, and as it progresses, you try to take their planet, using men under your control from your planet, sort of like a giant Conquest from the Clone Wars game.
3. Hypothetical, you can play any mission, and try to change Star Wars history, eg killing Obi-Wan at Mustafar, Jedi killing Vader/Palps, etc.
4.Switch roles play same missions, except as the Jedi.
5. Co-operative, need I say more? Also co-op as switch roles as well.
I know this would take a lot of memory, so either they have the technology for this when the time comes, or have it as a two-disc set, with missions on one, and multiplayer on the other.
Make sure it’s for X-box 360, PS3, AND Wii, because one of the biggest faults at Lucas Arts is that not a single Star Wars game has come out for all 3 platforms.

The main problem I would see with that is the flight portion of the game feeling tacked on since you're only using it at the very end of the game.

((Yeah. Didn't Mace die there. He lost his arm too. Imagine some armless, burnt-to-a-crisp Jedi with all of his bones broken waddling through the streets, and he musters the strength to fight you in Xander's game. Sorry Xander, I just think that sounds sort of.... there's no other- maybe there is- word for it... FUNNY... okay, hilarious goes too.... and comedic... humorous....))

I think canonically he should be dead. But I think an "infinities" survival tale is a fair bit of fun.
I very much doubt I'll ever finish my comic book tale of his survival - I didn't finish much beyond the first frame
But, I suppose the story I had planned out for the comic could have made a fun game too.
Basically, Windu was going to survival the fall by regaining consciousness mid-fall. Dive after his lightsaber, catch it, and then slow his descent by stabbing it into the metal frame of a nearby building. He'd then hop onto a nearby slow moving ship (garbage scowl?) and "borrow" it in the name of the Republic
If you were planning it out as a video game, the first level would be you fighting your way back to Palpatine's office through his personal guards and such. Of course, by the time you get there Anakin is already gone and Order 66 has just been executed. Palpatine would then mock you and there'd be a brief rematch between the pair.
The match would end when you "won" the fight by depleting Palpatine's health, however then Windu would feel the ongoing effect of Order 66 - Anakin and his troops attacking the Jedi Temple and you run off to try to help.
Then you'd have a multitude of Jedi Temple levels eventually culminating in you finding Anakin just as he's cut down the last of the Younglings hiding in the Jedi Council room.
Mace would say something about Anakin going mad and needing to be stopped.
Anakin would say something about the Jedi way and redemption.
Mace would glance at the dozen-odd dead younglings scattered across the room and say that some things were unforgivable.
Boss fight 2 against Anakin. After you've "won", Mace is forced to jump out of the window on his own accord once a squad of Clonetroopers forces their way into the room.
After that I'm not quite sure where it would go specifically. Anakin uses the name "Darth Vader" during Boss Fight 2 - so the story would skip ahead to shortly after Darth Vader's rise to power. Mace is therefore aware that the Dark Lord is, in fact, Anakin Skywalker and declares a personal quest to stop him.
Qui-Gon Jinn's spirit would then, at some point, appear to Windu and beg him to stop his quest to kill Vader, because Qui-Gon believes it to be the will of the Force.Windu disagrees and argues with the ghostly Jedi Master until Jinn lets it slip that things are already in motion and that Obi-Wan Kenobi has survived and is undergoing a mission to bring balance to the Force.
Armed with this knowledge, Windu eventually locates Kenobi on Tatooine years later. He spies on Obi-Wan and it doesn't take Windu long to deduce that the young boy that Kenobi is watching over is Anakin's son. During this time in a video game version you could have some fun Tusken Raider levels and even a fight with a Krayt Dragon.
Windu would then confront Kenobi and argue that raising the son of someone so evil and powerful is a danger to the galaxy. They would then duel each other, which would probably be the final fight of the game. Kenobi kills Windu to protect Luke.
In the interim you'd have some levels with Windu making strikes against Imperial installations and seeing the horrors of the Empire first hand. Gradually Windu falls further and further to madness as his quest to defeat the Sith that he failed to stop consumes him.

((I tweaked the format so this is like an IGN interview))
Type: Action/First-person-shooter/MMORPG
Players: 1 (cooperative= up to 4, online=up to 64)
Name: Stranded
Platforms: Featured= PS3. Other= Xbox 360, PC, Mac, Wii,
Talk:
SINGLEPLAYER:
Storyline: The storyline of Stranded is more of a prelude into a larger universe than a true story itself. It's part one in a series of games, and is introducing audiences to the world that will be further explored in the other games. While it gives a good story, the characters remain relatively undeveloped, as their personalities are to become more and more prominent in the series.
When the game starts out, the world is on the brink of a 2042 World War III. The United States has become a conqueror, and is now more of an empire than a democracy. The US military is now a high-tech powerhouse of complete pwnage, and is ready for a global conflict. Two large alliances of nations have sprung up. The "good guys" are mainly from Western Europe (and for the first time, Germany has joined the "good guys" in a video game), North America, Australia, Africa, and areas of east Asia and parts of South America. Your enemies are in France, Eastern Europe, China, Russia, and parts of South America.
However, the war hasn't begun yet, and the game takes place during a minor conflict on a fictional island in the Caribbean. Your a high tech, armored up US grunt trooper dropped onto the island to eliminate enemy positions- most importantly, an enemy missile depot that poses a threat to all areas of the world.
However, when you're dropping onto the island, the enemies are somehow alerted of your presence, and take down your assault ship. You're knocked unconscious, and are presumed dead. All the other helicopter-like transports are down too, and out of the 200 men attacking the island, 70 remain. You regain consciousness after your squadron left, and just in time to fight a group of enemy scouts.
After a brief skirmish and running around in the woulds killing enemies- with your high tech-armor making you feel like a god- you meet up with your squad to complete the mission. After a huge twenty-level battle in an suburban military base, you blow the missiles and your transport rescues you. Good news= mission accomplished. Bad news= the war just started, leading into the next few games.
Equipment: The equipment of the game makes you feel like a god, and that's just an understatement. But your still vulnerable. Your helmet is equipped with thermal sensors that give you total control in the battlefield (hidden units can't be detected though). Your main assault rifle has unlimited ammo, as, when bullets run out, laser charges are used. Modifications to your gun- sniper, anti-armor, machine gun, silencer, and others- are available and can be combined. When you sprint, you move like a jet plane, and your health recharges with ultimate speed... that is, if you're shielding doesn't absorb everything.
AI: The game's AI is modifiable, and can be set to "Idiot, Recruit, Trained, Expert," and, the hardest enemy "Armed and Dangerous". Enemies throw grenades at you, take cover, use environmental weaponry, hold their shots for stealth effect, and guard strategic positions. Beyond that, enemies, very often, act in squads, where a commander actually gives them orders to different positions that give them the edge. Allies are virtually the same, but are, obviously, stronger and better at what they do.
Graphics: The graphics are, overall, excellent, but certain problems rise up. These mostly deal with the fact that when an enemy bleeds- after he's dead- the blood looks rather flat and unrealistic, but, blood and gore aside, it's fitting of a next-gen console. You and your allies even get scratches and dirt on you that stays on you, and can block your vision until you manually wipe it off. And, for the first time ever in a FPS, you can see your feet while you walk!
MULTIPLAYER:
MMORPG: This is mostly due to the fact you create a character, name him, and basically design him with a Sims 2-like body designer. You join one of the two in-game alliances in each map, and can easily access a number of phrases (your voice, down to the roughness, pitch, and basically age, is also editted to your liking while designing your character) such as: Enemy spotted! Move forward! Grenade! or Sniper! Furthermore, you can use a Bluetooth device or just type in words (which are processed and made into sounds) to create other options you can easily select in a game. Finally, with new ranks, accomplishments, and the occasional official free download, you can edit your character with new special weapons, armor, accessories, and more!
Gameplay: Most basic types of matches are included in the game, with some modifications- capture the flag has documents, not a flag-, but there's also a headquarters type match where one team guards missiles, and the other uses vehicles and stealth to destroy them. Respawns are almost immediate, and the one map- the huge island itself with everything in the campaign in it- is filled with command posts. When you spawn, you get a 20 second period of time where you can't shoot, and you can't be shot. This prevents spawn killing; a capitol offense in the video game world. Team killing can be sent on or off in the game. One cool feature is that there is a never ending option where the game doesn't end until everybody quits. When you quit all of your stats are saved, and you get all the points you earned. Another neat feature is that if a player kills 10 members of his team, he is labeled a rogue, and has no team until the end of the game.

((Mortalis, I had Windu managing to grab on to a ledge a long way down. He wouldn't be burnt to a crisp anymore than Luke was after Palps' lightening in ROTJ, and he underwent a lot more than Windu.))

Whats the point they'll surrender anyway. You'll just hold up an airsoft gun and they'll be like "Nous merandons" (We surrender)

Windowless
Genre: Survival Horror
PLayers: 1
Platforms: PS3
JOhn Doe is in a windowless room. He's been there for a long time. He doesn't know how long. He can't tell when it's night, or when it is day. He doesn't know if he is awake or asleep. Sometimes he feels like he's being watched. Sometimes the room melts away, and he enters a place he's never been before. In these nightmares unimaginable horrors face him. Is he awake? Is he dead? Is it all just a dream? HOw is a man to know when all he sees is the inside of a windowless room.
The game would be based on perception. You play the man trying to cope with complete isolation, how he tries to escape it, and figure out how he got there. To pass the time in this room, he creates dreams (or realities?) in which the room is gone and he is free, but these other existances (sp?) are often disillusioning, horrifying, and all to real.
At the push of a button, the man enters his alternate reality, where he escapes the room. With the same push of the button, he goes back to the room, but it won't always be the same. The room will often reflect his most recent escape, which also akes him believe the room may not be real.
Much like Eternal Darkness, this game has a meter that works similar to the sanity meter called the perception meter. The more unreal things seem, it drains the meter. As it drains, these occurences happen even more, slowly destroying the man's mind. This may paralyze the man with fear, make him lose control, even kill him. And these will happen during anytime, cutscenes, the main menu, even while loading. This is to give the player the feeling that though they are alone, they may not be.
The man will be able to defend himself. Almost anything can be used as a weapon, but is he dsetroying the enemy, or his own mind?
All of this game will be without a HUD. As the Perception meter drains, it will manifest in game as random events. HIs health will be monitored be his physical being in game. Walking fine? Full on health. Limping? You get the picture.
Cutscenes will also be interactive. You will be able to direct and change the cutscenes, such as switching between dimensions mid-scene. Also the different camera angles will allow for a new perspective, as the game will have controlled cameras.
The SixAxis will play a role as well, developers say, though what specifically they won't.
After seeing the first trailer, it definitely looks promising, so we'll be keping our eye on this one.

AS for Stranded, I'd say
5.5/10
Story looks good, but you would probably feel far to overpowered.

((I know... thus the non-canon element? ))
Stranded sounds good conceptually, but realistically that sort of alliance wouldn't happen. If anything Australia wouldn't get involved in a war between China and America because they're its two most important allies.

They'll all be dead soon enough! Plus you can escape a nuclear holocaust by hiding under your desk.

Windowless 6/10. I just don't like those types of games.
Type: Action/RTS/MMPORG
Players: 1 (online=up to 30, MMORPG= infinity- a new world is created every 200 players)
Name: Empires, Great Conquest (Europe= Empires Grand Conquest)
Platforms: PC, (Mac version)
SINGLEPLAYER:
Storyline: The game takes place in a fictional world in which medieval nations fight to the death for total world domination. There are 30 nations in the game, and you can play as any one of them. Each has it's one benefits and units, and they all start out in different places on the map. It is, for the most part, a Medieval II or Rome Total War style game from that point onward. You conquer and take over until you have the entire world, and then you manage your empire. Rebellions pop up, but, for the most part, you just wait a few days until a new download is added to the game and you can add a new island or something to your current game for colonization.
Units: Most troops in the game are the same with different skins and stats. Examples: most factions have a few archer types. A basic archer with a bow, and a more powerful archer with a longbow. After that, some factions stop there, or they can get crossbows and guns.
Eras: The timeline of the game progresses from ancient to medieval to 1900's to modern to futuristic. Most of the time, factions start to get killed off in the 1900's era. This is due to the fact these are the world war eras, and once you reach that time the world population will increase rapidly from thousands to billions almost instantly.
Similar to Spore, editors are involved optionally in the game. In order to use an editor, you must either create a new faction or reach eras in the game. Editors create buildings, vehicles, and troops. These usually just involve the basic Spore features and become more indepth in multiplayer gameplay. When you reach certain eras, you items for editors are unlocked.
AI: The game's strategies and AI are so complicated and advanced, you generally feel like the computer is harder to beat than an online enemy.
Graphics: The graphics are relatively advanced, but, from a distance, they decrease in detail.
Features:
-editors
-You have the ability to select a battalion you are commanding on the field and become a soldier in it. If your losing a skirmish somewhere, this could be a good idea as a skilled player can quickly turn the tide of the battle by using that units strengths.
MULTIPLAYER:
MMORPG: Online, you can join either a permanent game or a temporary game. In a permanent game, which basically never ends, you create a nation, name it, design it's flag and coat of arms, and begin. Your troop icons and cities on the map look however you like, as editors can easily build a variety of troops and towns. You're troops are edited to your liking, and the cost all depends on where you assign skills, and what weapons you equip them with. Once you choose where you are on the map, a multiplayer world awaits you as you advance through the ages. (if a game is already in an advanced age and you join, you start during that age with predefined funds).
Temporary: these games are usually fast RPGs that end when one conquers the world, or they can be battles. A special type of combat, base combat, is also added and is similiar to BFMEII combat in that you build troops and bases in the battle. Editors for troops are also allowed here.
PvP Combat: The game features advanced PvP combat when controlling individual units. You have more health once you've engaged a foe, you cannot block attacks by holding down block for more than five seconds, and you can use environmental tools like stones or branches should you be disarmed.

Once we have 7 more games and an eighth concluding game (anybody can make it), we can create another slideshow of all the games. Any game that didn't have an image just got the "Image not available" thing up from IGN.
