Bourne ConspiracyI saw the Jason Bourne movies last year (I think) when the third came out in theatres, but- at least for the PS3 and, I believe 360- a new video game is coming out! The Bourne Conspiracy. Has anyone else heard about it? The demo is awesome. The fighting is pretty simple and to some people can get monotonous, but I love it. Every punch and kick seems real, and when to stack up takedowns and use them on groups of enemies, you can eliminate squads in seconds! Sweet game! 9.8 out of 10 for the demo!

I read the book.. but I think the game is a combo of the movies..

It's based on the BOOKS, and I can't wait for it.

I love stacking up take-downs in the train level once you get in the plane, and then using all of them on the second group of enemies. (the group you encounter after you jump past the half-track they throw out the window )

The demo on Xbox Live for the 360.

Then Playstation Network...whatever.

I was responding to DoM, not you, but yeah. Playstation Network or Xbox live, they're the same thing, except PS3 is free and Xbox live is extremely expensive.

Eh, if my modem was compatible for Xlive I would try it out.
But it doesn't matter. I'll have the game in a few days anyway.

I got the demo today with my Xbox magazine, and it's absolutely awesome.
Can't wait to buy it tomorrow.

Played the demo...its okay. I'll rent it. I love the shooting takedowns though, specially with the pistol.

Is there any unique features/nifty abilities in this game to set it aside from other games? From much of the previews, it looks like a modern day side scroller: Point A -> B, while killing anyone in between.

There's a lot different. It's got a better fighting system, not just stack 'em up, knock 'em down. You actually need to wait for a good chance to strike, and take it. You use stealth to sneak around and take kills, find information, and the like. The demo hardly lives up to the game.
I just finished the first car chase. It was a pain, but fun.
There are moments where you need to have pretty good hand-eye coordination, pressing a button at the right time in a cinematic, during a boss fight to stop the boss from using a take down, and the like. It's a great game. Better if you've read the books, yet it's still good enough if you've watched the movie.
Only thing really is that it's a lot more like the movie than the book, just a different look for all the characters.

Hmm... how are the graphics. The demo had surprisingly good graphics, and I think it fulfilled the PS3's promise for realistic looking games.

Graphics are very great, slightly better than the demo. I find the lip syncing for the cut scenes better than most games as well.
Lol, beat the game earlier today.

Just got the game for the PS3 and I'm installing it now *thanks mom!*
EDIT: I beat the game under recruit while playing it seven hours straight last night. It's so cool! I hate the level when you fight the professor in the burning barn (so hard). You only get two minutes! I beat him in the last 3 milliseconds.
