Is there anyway to be a bounty hunter on this site though? Or is it just jedi?

Welcome, Herm!
In a nutshell, here's how it works.
Your character(s) can be absolutely anything you want - so yes, no matter what, you can play a bounty hunter character.
You're also able to join either the Jedi or Sith ranking system, if you wish. Those two systems are the pathways to becoming a leader of the forum... but we're rather top-heavy at the moment, so progression is slow. This does NOT restrict you to playing only Jedi/Sith characters.
If you choose NOT to join one of the ranking systems, you also have the option of having "Bounty Hunter" displayed as your rank with a little Boba Fett picture.

well if you say anything then could you use bounty hunter for now and try to photoshop something like a Crime lord rank if it's not something too big? it seems so but i have to ask. Oh and thanks for the info. Do i need my Charicter approved or something to start rping?

Characters do not need approval.
Although a roleplay creator is certainly free to not let you join their roleplay if they don't like your character.
