America(the book) A Citizen's guide to Democracy Inaction

Who else has read this insane book? i know it was released on 2005, and i got it in 2005, but i seriously can't stop rereading it. even the back is funny! Discuss this awesome book.

Mmm, so it's still relevant? I never ended up picking it up since I didn't start watching The Daily Show until late 2005. I was worried it might be too centered around the 2004 election to be worth a late purchase.

How visual is the book? I ask because I bought Colbert's "I am America (and so can you!)" as an audiobook simply because it was narrated by him, which seemed to add extra value, heheh. Stewart's also has an audiobook which is narrated by Stewart himself, but I had heard that the book had a rather hefty amount of images. Unlike Colbert's, which only had a few that I didn't mind missing out on (although I do sort of wish I had the hard copy of the book - if only for this image on the back cover).

its highly visual, with a lot of the visuals very relevant to some joke. like the sexist one about woman gaining the right to vote.

Were you aware? Before 1920, women used to call election day "Stay Home and Cook Day"

Lol! That's, in some ways, a little sexist, but in many ways it is true...

Were you aware? the term Did You Know? is taken by a rival publisher.
