I actually remember that one, because it was one of those action figures that made me think about "What would Star Wars be like if it had been filmed really, really, really, low budget?"
The answer in that case, of course, was that the carbonite wouldn't melt away in a shiny red glow. Instead, Leia would swing the Carbonite block away from the wall like a door, and simply snap Han out of his restraints behind it.
Ahh, those good old days of super-muscly action figures.
It appears they've gotten a good deal more realistic over the years.
And, while we're talking about Han - they also released another Star Wars Original Trilogy in Clone Wars Style item on Friday apparently.
Neat, but there's no way I'd spend $35 on it. If they put out an Old Ben one, I suppose I'd be obligated to buy it to match my little statuette, which, after sleeping on it - I'm still intent on buying. _________________
